I can't believe this hasn't got its own page yet. Katy released her first compilation album on 13th May 2026 called "The One That Got The Plays". Since it debuted at #13, it reached a new peak of #10 on the UK Albums Chart.

I wonder will they ever release it physically as it’s doing very well for her.

It’ll sell well among her loyal fanbase

I think so too, the album i sguaranteed to go Gold at the worst in the UK and maybe in time platinum so it would be nice for fans to have.

Im more a casual and wouldnt buy her studio albums but would buy a greatest hits.

Should be certified Gold by the end of August, or the beginning of September. It's around 84k right now.

I hope they don't.

This compilation seems more like a playlist of her biggest songs rather than a proper greatest hits in my opinion. Everything about this feels that it was rushed to capitalise the viral moment of "The One That Got Away", as well as "Legendary Lovers" and "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)". I mean, they picked the songs, they made the playlist rearranging them, they tacked "Bandaids" and called the day, lol! Anything wrong, in a business and marketing way, to do that, but it leaves a bad impression.

Obviously, Capitol can take advantage of this doing well in the UK and Ireland and release physically, but as I mentioned before, I prefer a proper release than this.

The thing is with this playlist, she can just add and remove songs that go viral and it’ll never leave the Top 20 😑
