Heartbreak, although they actually did a pretty good cover of The Slightest Touch!

I wouldn’t say I’m surprised as such.

It was a “big” lead single for WTFH2, especially with Michelle on board so a lot of the casuals may have picked up on it and enjoyed it. I believe Gogglebox even watched their Graham Norton performance of it!

Slightest Touch didn’t really make any waves outside of the immediate fandom really, sadly!

I am too, its not that heartbreak isnt a good song its more the slightest touch i thought was more popular mnyself included.

Slightest Touch is their only song after Scared to appear in the top 100 midweek chart though, Heartbreak didn't achieve that.

Apparently HITC was released on a Thursday whilst TST was released on a Friday so it’s probably not fair to compare that as HITC would have loads of wasted sales on that Thursday!

Always annoyed me when they started releasing songs on Wednesdays/Thursdays 😂

Yeah i assume they used to do it so they could say “reached #1 on iTunes” due to there not really being any new releases out yet, whereas Fridays would have all the new competition to race against.

But the flip side was that any small chance of creeping into the top 75/100 was pretty much sacrificed, which as chart fans, is very annoying 😂

Weird indeed..we are in the 20’s now!

The slightest reached top 100 in the midweek update but Heartbreak has a lot more streams.

While either have sold much, someday i love to get a full update on steps singles sales.

Me too though part of me doesn’t as their single sales from the new era (bar Scared) are very low

Thank you its showing as closed and Heartbreak in This City is the confirmed winner.

Not my preferred choice of winner but I’d say it’s probably the biggest song of the 5 overall in terms of mass appeal / audience, so not too surprising!
