January 30, 200718 yr  just look at my prediction UK---310k US---750k  Edited January 30, 200718 yr by Addy!
January 30, 200718 yr Wow, a diva with a powerful voice... All that we need to kill our boredom. Oh yeah, a powerfull voice, not boring at all is it compared to someone like Norah  Oh and all these sales of 300k, she hasn't even managed top 3
January 30, 200718 yr I must admit, I'm glad to see she won't be #1. It is nothing more than dinner party background music and it bores me to tears. No doubt he overall worldwide sales will be massive first week though. -_-

January 31, 200718 yr I have to say I dont get all the Norah hate, it not like EVERYTHING she does sounds identical, the first album was very bluesy, while 'Feels Like Home' took it's inspiration from country music, and the third album feels to combine the both. Just because she doesnt do up-tempo songs and big ballads doesnt make her boring.
January 31, 200718 yr I think the problem this time around is lack of promo, she nearly always has a song on the radio a few weeks before the album release with loads of airplay, has she actually got a single out this time?
January 31, 200718 yr Promotion, she is signed to EMI. They don't know what promo is or how to do it. I thought she would have had a No.1. The UK market is very unpredictable. Which is good, new and exciting bands seem to be hot fav at the moment.
January 31, 200718 yr Just goes to show that you can never say an album will certainly hit No.1 in it's first week any more.
January 31, 200718 yr Says a Robbie Williams fan... Oh yes, songs such as Rudebox are perfect for nice quiet background music for a fancy dinner party  As always, your logic makes no sence and as always you are content on causing arguements by slagging off other posters fave artists. This topic has NOTHING to do with Robbie or Anastacia yet YOU feel the need to slag them off with your constant desperation for an arguement. Grow up please. -_- Oh and is'nt it you who is always on ukmix DEFENDING Robbie? Quite hypocritical don't you think?

January 31, 200718 yr Says a Robbie Williams fan... You really do talk out your ass and have no idea to what your going on about  I CERTAINLY would rather listen to Robbie at a Dinner Party then someone like Dido or Norah ^_^

Most people who say that haven´t even heard her records, and they hate her for selling millions more then other more "cool" females (="divas").

Which is good, new and exciting bands seem to be hot fav at the moment. This is the good side, but the bad side is this "hot bands" won´t last for more then 2 albums in the mainstream, in the old days bands had to release 3 or 4 albums to stablish themselves, now they debut with one hugely sucessful album because NME hypes them, and then the 2nd sells just ok and in the 3rd they are over.

Read my post again, I just think it´s ironic that anyone who is a fan of Robbie Williams can criticize other singer for being boring, since Robbie´s big worldwide hits have been big love ballads... I´m not denying he make some good stuff in the past, but just because he has "upbeat" songs doesn´t make him musically superior to someone who makes chilled music. Rudebox might not be apropriate for dinner parties, which doesn´t make it superior to songs that are played on dinner parties, and it doesn´t matter if it is upbeat, it´s melodical and lyrical poorness is what makes it boring to me... Otherwise 90% of classic music would be despised as "boring", because the song are not upbeat and are not apropriated to be played on clubs and on MTV´s shows.
January 31, 200718 yr Most people who say that haven´t even heard her records, and they hate her for selling millions more then other more "cool" females (="divas"). I despise Norah with passion, not because she sells millions, but because of what she sells is shit. If she made good music and didn't sell any of it at all, then I would like her, mainly because of her music. Or even if she made good music and sold millions, I would still like her, I seriously don't know how you cope, Norah Jones and Dido
