Sunday at 21:582 days Casuals are not going to buy the singles collection. It’s way too expensive. Also, most casual fans don’t care about remixes. If they released the Orbital remix of Wannabe as a stand alone streaming release, it would probably do better.

Yesterday at 02:091 day Casual fans would probably be more open to a rarities album than a random new remix of Wannabe by a famous producer. I read so many comments of casual fans upset with the boxset. The majority of comments were along the lines of I already own all the singles. They are in my mom’s attic. I don’t need to buy them again. Thanks for nothing Spice Girls. In terms of music releases it seems casual fans want something new, not “old” songs repackaged. Maybe that’s why the group didn’t even bother with Forever 25 because Spice 25 and Spiceworld 25 didn’t sell as well as UMG projected.

16 hours ago16 hr Author Anyhow... moving the topic back on track. Good series this, binge listened to it this evening. Nice to hear the contributions from Jayne Middlemiss, Clara Amfo, Peter Loraine and Alan Edwards in particular interspersed with the archive clips.
