February 2, 200718 yr Quite good this, do you get the money or the site? Coco The Rabbit could go on and sell loads :D
February 3, 200718 yr Author I get 80% of all the money earned from the song Glad you like it Conor!!!
September 16, 20222 yr Author I've finally put the original versions of this on Spotify/Apple Music/iTunes etc, not the Hitstastic mix as he hasn't posted in ages, and I don't have contact info any more to ask him about it/where the vocal sample came from etc. Still, enjoy the chilled balearic beats of the original mix/radio edit, and a couple of (very) rough piano demos I made when I was 15 on the EP too, as a bonus  Minderloopita was the first song I ever wrote when I was 12, and massively needs updating, Poppy's House I wrote at 15 in honour of my now very dearly departed Westie dog Poppy. Both are in the key of C major. Breathe is in A minor, I made this using the Dance Ejay software a very long time ago, but nice to have them all up to stream/download after all this time after coming across all the original .wav files again. I have loads of other songs, but need to work out the copyright stuff around the vocal samples on some of them, before I can put them out. And have also since written loads more songs but have never yet got around to recording them. https://RecordU.lnk.to/kDYVuY/applemusic // https://music.apple.com/gb/album/breathe-ep/1642783033 // https://www.beatport.com/release/breathe-ep/3857660 s5uuobSanMs h_YL0lmj0NY OAnxNkrcmk4 JTXABGEm_ec
September 17, 20222 yr nice little chill track there - great to have a few of us on the forum putting out original music too
September 17, 20222 yr Author Cheers Dan! Yes, I was partly influenced by you actually - I've been meaning to put them up all year since I found all my files on an old hard drive, but yours gave me a good reminder to get on with it.
September 17, 20222 yr This is great Rich! I am in awe of those of you who have posted your own music on major platforms! I have no idea how it’s all done but congrats to you both and please can we have some more music soon! ;)
September 17, 20222 yr Author Thanks a lot Wardy! I will certainly try to release more from the vaults soon, and hopefully get round to producing some of the new stuff.
September 17, 20222 yr for me and other likewise independent/amateur musicians it's as easy as signing up to Distrokid and they distribute to all major platforms for an annual fee. it appears that Rich used RecordUnion which is a similar service albeit with a slightly different pricing strategy.
September 17, 20222 yr Author Yes, I used RecordUnion, which is quite easy to get the hang of. Yeah it's pretty easy to do, you have to upload the .wav audio files and artwork and then add various metadata etc then wait for about 10 days+ for them to process the release, I uploaded it a couple of weeks back and had to choose a release date. You pay an annual fee to have the tracks up, but it's not extortionate, something like £25 for this EP to be up for a year.
