EMI will release a boxset of 15 Coldplay 7" singles on Feb 19. (see all the details on Coldplay forum). Will this item be chart-eligible ?

It depends if they are counted singly or together - if singly then the singles would be, but as you say a boxset, then I would think that would be either ineligible, or count towards the album chart?

7'' are vynil or cd?

Vinyl mate ^_^ Just like the 12", the only difference being that a 7" contains normally 2 tracks, and the 12" has 4 tracks or more :) xox.

You make me feel old not knowing what a 7" single is. It only seems like yesterday when all chart singles were on 45 RPM 7" singles.

It reminds me of when my Dad used to go on about 78 RPM singles.

think that U2 got to #100 with a singles box once?

in their albums rundown it like #1 album after #1, and bizzarrely a #100 entry. weird
