Posted January 28, 200718 yr Eno and Coldplay team up Virgin Net Former Roxy Music musician Brian Eno is producing Coldplay's new album, which will be the follow-up to 2005's 'X&Y'. Eno told BBC Radio 4's 'Front Row' programme that he is working with the band, and revealed that the new LP "will be very original and very different from what they've done before". Coldplay are busy working on their fourth studio album and could perform some of their new material on their forthcoming tour of Latin America, which begins next month. Eno has previously produced albums for U2, David Bowie, James and Talking Heads. Are any of you excited by the news that Brian Eno is producing the new Coldplay album?

January 30, 200718 yr Eno to produce fourth Coldplay album Source: MW Legendary producer Brian Eno is working on the follow-up to Coldplay’s X&Y, according to an interview given with Radio Four. In an interview with Kristy Lang on Radio Four’s Front Row , Eno said, “I’m working with Coldplay. I’m producing their new record, which I think will be very original and very different from what they’ve done before.†A spokesperson for Coldplay was unavailable for comment. The band have been working on the follow-up to X&Y since October 2006, after purchasing their own studio in London.
