I just checked about Emma, Graham. It is the lowest charting Ex-Spice single, after the Mel B one. I thought Geri's Desire was worse, seems it got to 22 though :o

i agree emma and mel c are the best by far. but tbh i dont think emma cares no more, she says she just wants to conentrate on the baby and enjoy that....she hardly promoted the single so i couldnt see it getting top40 anyway

Eek Im well gutted for Simon, Im really bamboozled as to how and why MSPFY has bombed. From what I know there has been a positive response to the song, yet I knew from little downloads this would perform poorly, but I really dont understand why there was so little interest through puchasing means.

At least his album has re entered, thats something.

He ought to release 'Grace' next. Absolute gem. Hopefully pull his audience back in.

I dont like how his career has taken such a different direction as 'Sanctuary' proved a great success and he is a decent artist, very underrated.

Music shows, like CD:UK and TOTP, with their demise, acts find it difficult to promote, I can see McFly following suit soon.

I think the last Album started with a single that stood out. The helium vocals. This last few tracks have been a bit too much the same thing over and over, he has to make something that different to get interest going.

At Least Mel C is successful across Europe!

Poor Emma, but she does seem to have lost interest in it all. I can't say I blame her. She must have exhausted herself before Christmas juggling Strictly Come Dancing wiht promoting the single and the album, which didn't do much. Now she's got a baby to look forward to, and with a shortage of decent promotional opportunities, she's not going to be bothered about pushing things.

 

Simon Webbe seems to have gained some credibility with this promotion, as he's been singing live etc, but that hasn't translated into sales. Maybe the people who liked the song just bought the album, or had already bought the album.

Emma's position is even worse than expected... there has been a total lack of promo, only two performances on tv, no radio airplay at all and very little video airplay! But still thought her fan base was stronger...

 

If you add this to a very bad choice for a single, you obtain #60! Poor Emma, she deserved a better position! Hope it's not the end of her career, though I'm sure it's the end of Life in Mono,

 

Anyone knows if there's any chance of the album to have re-entered at the top 200????
