March 10, 200719 yr The physical sales have a very little impact on the charts... Justin only top5, and above all Nelly only top10 and Lily only top20... I wouldn't have predicted that weeks ago... Well I think they still do, look at when songs like Mika get released physically, thier sales more than double!
March 10, 200719 yr Sadly I no longer understand the singles chart due to the new rules etc. I'm often confused as to whether stuff is out physically or just on downloads. Also, how come Lily Allen is top 40 with 'Alfie' yet top 75 with 'Alfie'/'Shame On You'? Same... now I have to check the release schedule along with the Sunday Chart Predictions in order to know if the songs charting have the opportunity to progress into the charts the following weeks or if they're reaching their peak.
