^Yep, around January time I think...

You need to remember discs are certified on the numbers shipped to shops not discs sold. I doubt she's sold 100k.

Lol i presume youre not in the UK then? And i know about the shipping thing, but this was announced gold months back so i assume it has sold 100k+
If her album has gone gold that it has sold 100k plus

Well spotted guys.

Jamelia's gold certified album has only sold around 60,000

The fact that the HMV website is trying to sell it selling it for £5.99 suggests that it has been overshipped.

I doubt it will ever reach 100K

Sorry but I am in the Uk. Thanks Dave B for the figures.

Gold is 200,000 copies sold/shifted is it not?

It's a bit of a good status to throw away on just 100,000 copies which many albums can sell in 2-3 weeks if they chart high enough.

Anyway I would say this has sold 80k if lucky - probably had enough copies shipped to achieve Gold status.

Well I do think 150k would be more suitable, maybe 75k for silver and keep it 300k for platinum.
I can't believe it is has sold so little, if beware of the dog had been the first single, it would have done SO much better.
her singles and album have not been well promoted and the singles have been average. its no wonder the album hasn't sold.

^So right, BOTD is amazing. Something About You wasnt a great lead single IMO, shoulda been BOTD.
