I don't understand how ANYONE can say ''Walk This Way'' is worse than that unfunny and just plain $h!t Proclaimers song :manson:

Edited by UnfaithfulJack

Oh come on, the song is not THAT bad, the way people talk you'd think it was as dire as "its chico time" or bob the builder or that stupid lazytown song. There have been much worse out there, and the important thing is it's for charity. So I say congrats to the babes for their 5th #1 and congrats to GA for their 3rd #1!!

The one without was due to the hype of the reality show. :( They've had so many #2 singles that were cruelly robbed and deserve it more than this garbage. -_-

Lets hope GA can get back on track and deliver a amazing 4th studio album this year!

im really happy for the girls they deserve to get to number one

like cheryl said theyre not trying to better their careers or take it seiously, its for charity and i hope the track made shedloads of cash

true, GA have had 4 no.2 singles, which were all robbed of the topspot!

Nope, Girls Aloud & Sugababes are worst,

It's a disgrace to the original -_-

The Rakes release their second album 'Ten New Messages', produced by Jim Abiss (Arctic Monkeys, Editors, Kasabian) and Brendan Lynch (Primal Scream) and recorded in Mayfair Studios, The Chapel, and West Point in London in the autumn of 2006. 'Ten New Messages' is the follow up to the bands debut, silver album, 'Capture/ Release'. 'Ten New Messages', the perfect intelligent art-punk type of music for skinny pale indie kids to jump up and down/ toss their heads insouciantly to on the dance floor/ drink red stripe too, includes the mission-statement single, 'We Danced Together'. - HMV

Unheard of until October of last year, five piece band The Twang were the subject of discussion in the pages of the NME, the message boards of a hundred band sites, the A & R departments of pretty much every record label of size in the UK whilst their demos were being played on BBC Radio One in the middle of the day. After some very nice free dinners and compiling an address book filled with the names of the movers and shakers in British music, The Twang signed with B-Unique in December of 2006 and began to record tracks for their debut album. 'Wide Awake' is the first mission statement from their debut album, which fuses the band's love of 90s dance music, the baggy movement and ladrock. - HMV

It looks like this tune has a chance to become to group's first top ten hit. The song itself is pretty good until the song's key changes halfway through however

Hot off the back of their Best British Breakthrough award at this year's Brits, The Fratellis return, with their latest offering from the double platinum 'Costello Music'. With its glam tinged stomp-along-sing-along refrain 'Baby Fratelli' has become the the lead track from the brand new Working Title/Simon Pegg film, 'Hot Fuzz' which opened as the 4th biggest British Film ever. The film also includes the band's cover of T Rex's classic 'Solid Gold Easy Action' which features as a b-side on this release. Another b-side on this package is the band's 'Oh La Hot Love', a reworking of Goldfrapp's 'Ooh La La', which fans will be familiar with from the band's live show and Jo Wiley's Live Lounge.

'Destination Calabria' has been building itself a cult following since it began life as 'Destination Unknown', a track Alex put together with his studio partner Maurizio Nari back in 2003, which featured vocals by Crystal 'Gypsy Woman' Waters. Jim Tonique was called in on remix duties, and to add a little something special to his mix, he replayed the irresistible sax hook of the Ibiza classic by Rune, 'Calabria' (originally released on Credence that same year.) Little did he know that this would then turn out to be one of the most sought after records over the coming months with DJs clamouring to get their hands on a copy. - HMV

Has anyone noticed that Crystal Waters is not in the video and was replaced a handful of sexually clad marching band members?
