December 12, 200618 yr OH MY DAYS. Did anyone just watch it? That damn girl shouldn't have gave in and listened to her damn fiance! FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.
December 12, 200618 yr I was PMSL at the b**ch    £21k is a huge amount of money unless you are a pro footballer and she should be thankful for that, all her Nikki Grahame histrionics made me laugh like mad when the final 2 were £100k and £250k
December 12, 200618 yr £21k ain't $h!t compared too £100/250k though, I was well gutted for her! Its still 2 years wages for her though, as Noel would say "21k is real money everything else is just numbers on a board", she should be grateful for 2 years wages for nothing
December 12, 200618 yr She did say she was grateful though bless her. And you can't expect people to just not care upon realising they could've gone home with like, thrice the amount of cash they dealt at! I bet you'd weeeeelll cry if it happened to you!

And you can't expect people to just not care upon realising they could've gone home with like, thrice the amount of cash they dealt at! I bet you'd weeeeelll cry if it happened to you! Nope not at all, that's part of life, I would enjoy the £21k and spend it all very quickly and not look back :) Before I quit betting on it altogether as its a mugs game I won £64 once on the lottery once where if I had used 14 instead of 13 I would have won £96,000 (14 would have given me 5 plus the bonus instead of 4 plus the bonus I ended up with because of 13), I never cried, I was like "omg why did I not use 14 instead of 13" for a few secs but was pleased to have won £64
December 12, 200618 yr If I was on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and was on say £250,000 then lost it and went back to £32,000 I would be very annoyed. But still reasonably happy because to go on there with nothing and win £32,000 is better than nothing at all.
December 12, 200618 yr Also Sarah there are a lots of ifs and buts, with that board it is very likely she would have dealed at £57k, with the safety net outside of the big 2 being 5k there is no way she would have gambled all the way so the whole thing is a "if only" scenario

I would be lucky to get £2000 on WWTBAM  but if I was on any sorta high amount I would take the money if I did not know the answer
December 12, 200618 yr What annoys me is when people say 'I think it's this or this...' and then choose 50/50. Isn't it obvious they'll leave those two? They should start at £1,000 because those questions are pointless. Get those wrong, you shouldn't even be there. Childs questions...

Spot on there agree totally, those first few questions just waste time, although a few in the past have got them wrong lol :o :o I have the PC version and generally get £4-8k
December 12, 200618 yr OH MY DAYS. Did anyone just watch it? That damn girl shouldn't have gave in and listened to her damn fiance! FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Well you can say that afterwards, but she might or walked away with £5. Personally I'd have carried on as £21K offer wasn't very good from the backer, but I can see that many people would acccept it in such a situation. I doubt she will be happy with her boyfriend for a while however as he talked her into accepting it.

Childs questions... it's a fix when it comes to 50/50 even Chris tries to force them to pick 2 beforehand. I would just keep schtum, or say one I knew definitely wasnt the answer ^_^
December 12, 200618 yr Author  Well you can say that afterwards, but she might or walked away with £5. Personally I'd have carried on as £21K offer wasn't very good from the backer, but I can see that many people would acccept it in such a situation. I doubt she will be happy with her boyfriend for a while however as he talked her into accepting it. id have dealt at 21k.... after all time after time , more often then not, people turn down an offer in that range then take out all the big numbers... her fella couldnt have won... if he said 'play on' and she crashed then their would be tears anyway.. she hadnt the bottle to go on, she asked HIM for his opinion, it was her fault, it was her decision. she made me sick... i hate it when these idiots start to blub... its not as if she went away with nothing, and she was told by noel 'what would upset you more? missing out on 250k or losing 21k'? imho... she had 21k too much, the child needs to grow up and take responsability for her own action.
December 12, 200618 yr It made TV drama and I think Noel made the most of it. I think very few people will ever win 250K as most would just play it safe, that encourages the bank to offer less then what is mathematically likely to be won.
December 13, 200618 yr I've never actually watched Deal or No Deal. It looks really confusing. Plus my dads uncle who I hate watches it so it just reminds me of him.
