Really bad sales for such an excellent track in my opinion. -_-

I totally agree. The single did not deserve to do that bad. I don't know why it's falling so much on iTunes and on the official chart. Girls Aloud and Sugababes fans should've came together more to support both bands. :(

i saw the original on TV the other day (on it should have be #1 or something like that )

and I think it's terrible  I don't see why everyone sucks up to it so much.

Steven Tyler has a great voice but its wasted on it.

At the time, Rock & Hip Hop where like, 2 genre's of music that just didn't go together. And Run-DMC and Aerosmith brought the two together to re-produce one of Aerosmiths early hits, which was Walk This Way.

So that why it was so good at the time, it's a Hip-Hop/RnB classic ^_^

Although I think the original [1970's version which is just Aerosmith] is ALOT better, it's all singing :P

which still doesn't work  therefore no classic in my eyes ^_^

 Well really, it's the whole Rock/Hip-Hop collab that why the songs a classic :P

Oooh, ouch. :( I was hoping it'd sell at least 100,000 copies! I think it will sell that many soon if it has not already.
1-2-14-24 is a McFly-esque run. :( I can't see it selling over 100k tbh, but this happened last time round when McFly - All About You was knocked off the #1 spot by some Peter Kay novelty song, and he's done it again.

As of April 4th it has sold- 82900. So I think it will make the 100,000!

^AT the rate its dropping, theyll be lucky!!! Its 40-something in the midweeks
I think it could scrape it if it hangs around a bit in the top 75. I think it has two more weeks left in the top 75 though and it won't reach 100k. How embarassing. :(
Just 51,000 since it's been released? cumulatively? :o

lol no it was only for the 1st week ;)

Embarrasing... who cares really? There're only online nutters to talk about the sales of the single lool :P In the mind of people, it reached #1 and had big press and TV exposure, so it's a hit.

It didn't happen last time. :P It sold less than Peter Kay's song yes, but it still sold a shedload and ended up in the Top 10 Year End Chart (I think).

I'm very disappointed with 'Walk This Way'. It looks like it'll scrape Top 50 this week, and it's not even on 100k yet :(
