March 24, 200718 yr scooch have upped there profile which is what they need how it will last i dont know It won't last beyond this one song, but they'll milk it for all it's worth.
March 24, 200718 yr ya they will prob get another single after this song that will flop and that will be it again
March 28, 200718 yr Those who vote NO need their hearing checked :smoke: and you wonder why I think certain artists should be moved away from the pop area as it says its as cultural viable as scooch and all the rest of the manufactured commoditys
March 29, 200718 yr No, of course not. You really think Cyndi would have been better? Another boring ballad! Scooch have a catchy song and a great routine to go with it. Eurovision is all about campness and fun.
March 29, 200718 yr i dont mind the scooch song that much but i do think cyndi would do better in eurovision as it is a decent ballad
March 29, 200718 yr Author Well this has to be the most one sided poll in the entire history of Buzzjack. Yes, Aly STILL refuses to change the poll back to what it was meant to be :smoke: And pay no heed to the poll tagline, it is his editjob and I can't do a thing :(
March 29, 200718 yr Author Eurovision is all about campness and fun. How deluded some people are -_- Perhaps the case about 10 years ago honey ;)
March 30, 200718 yr Eurovision is all about campness and fun. Which is why it's bollocks for the most part.... Maybe if it was about actually finding decent tunes...... Mind you, a decent tune actually won the damn thing last year....  For about the first time in decades.... :P
March 30, 200718 yr Mind you, a decent tune actually won the damn thing last year.... For about the first time in decades.... no way :o Greece in 2005's win was a chooooon! & yes, scooch are horrific, and shouldn't be representing us. like Tyron says, Eurovision is NOT about campness and c**p dance routines anymore, we're sending outdated c**p which doesn't accurately represent the British music scene, and that's why we'll suffer another humiliation again.
March 30, 200718 yr no way :o Greece in 2005's win was a chooooon! Dont talk rubbish mate... Of course it was.. What problem do you have with a bit of melodic Hard Rock..? At least it was actually bloody well WRITTEN, as opposed to churned out on a fukkin' production line..... Lordi = PROPER band who can actually PLAY INSTRUMENTS, not bland, MANUFACTURED IDENTIKIT Z-rate ABBA-wannabe c**p which doesn't even qualify as music....
March 30, 200718 yr OK, you're all talking about how Scooch don't represent the 'British music scene'. You find us ONE band that you think represent the 'British music scene' and get them to represent us in a show that IS seen as camp and fun. You would find NONE. It doesn't matter how great our song is. You could send The Arctic Monkeys or maybe even Sugababes and we still wouldn't win. Edited March 30, 200718 yr by Iheartkelly

The fact we do $h!t is because we send $h!t. I mean look at Israel for example, they're hardly more liked that us are they? Yet they send a decent song and come top five in 2005.
March 30, 200718 yr You're missing my point. No-one who you would call respectable would go anyway. Edited March 30, 200718 yr by Iheartkelly
March 30, 200718 yr You're missing my point. No-one who you would call respectable would go anyway. Well Morrissey wanted to!
March 31, 200718 yr OK, you're all talking about how Scooch don't represent the 'British music scene'. You find us ONE band that you think represent the 'British music scene' and get them to represent us in a show that IS seen as camp and fun. You would find NONE. It doesn't matter how great our song is. You could send The Arctic Monkeys or maybe even Sugababes and we still wouldn't win. But why is Eurovision seen as being "camp" though...? Tell me that... Cos I just dont get it.. Why should it be 'Camp' or 'Kitsch' or whatever... Who fukkin' says it has to be that way...? If you ask me, it's a case of it having 'Campness' thrust upon it rather than it being inherent... I seriously doubt that it was the intended idea of the guys who thought it up in the first place for it to end up as some lame-ass, camp, queenie, cheese-o-thon... And I am fukkin HEART SICK of hearing all these bloody conspiracy theories about why Britain doesn't do well... We dont do well, BECAUSE WE SEND OUT SH!TE, end of story, now can we please just get fukkin' beyond this....? The UK has won the bloody thing twice in my lifetime, write it out a thousand times there is no conspiracy, there is no conspiracy, there is no conspiracy...... And you want some examples of people who should represent us...? (well not that I haven't actually stated them already about a hundred bloody times, but it seems like some people are a bit slow to catch up, so.....) Morrissey (who HAS offered to represent us BY THE WAY and was knocked back by those useless c/unts at the BBC......), Jarvis Cocker, Neil Hannon & The Divine Comedy, Alison Goldfrapp, Ladytron, Massive Attack.... Hell, I'd even take Robbie Williams over the shower of sh!t that is Scooch..... Any one of those would acquit themselves marvellously, would actually write a decent, original song and would perform with such consummate professionalism....
March 31, 200718 yr I just wish that we would send someone like you've said and then we could watch them lose. What's the point in getting so heated up over it? It's not going to change, so get used to it.
