In reality, Shakira isn't playlisted because she is - quite simply - too uncool. The same applies to Anasatacia.

And AMEN! to that!

Great to see Gareth Gates made the Radio 2 playlist but why the hell should it be Angel on My shoulder  when he is releasing Changes ?

What advantage is it for Gareth, if any?

Maybe its an error?

Well obviously that is what I was hoping but somehow it doesn't seem feasible. Except for fans at the gig, no one has heard the whole tune yet and with no confirmation of the album release date it seems odd to choose another song.

Has this happened before does anyone know?

pfft, Beyonce is no more of a sl*g than shakira

and WEHEY, love the new Bev Knight track, really happy its A listed on radio 2

now bring on radio 1 :P

it seems odd to choose another song.

It does, but if it means I get to hear the full version I'm happy! :cheer:

Didn't the controller of Radio 1 once say that no way was he going to allow pan-pipes on his station (re Shakira). They've never warmed to her since, and it was pathetic, and a bit funny, that they ignored her all Summer when Hips Don't Lie was massive, hoping that she'd go away and there would be no more embarassment. They've had no problems playing the live lounge version of Hips Don't Lie when it's by a north American, flavour of the month, band.
