 Knew you wouldn't understand that.. I'm not sure what other languages have that..

If a boy says he's hungry it's- Gladan sam

a girl would say- Gladna sam

a boy and a girl (together, both, plural   )- Gladni smo (and it's the same if there are two boys)

2 girls- Gladne smo

in English you only have I'm hungry for both sexes.. you don't know the sex from that sentence whereas in Croatian..it's different ^_^

it's not the same, there are some small differences but we all understand each other perfectly well! Croatians understand Slovenians, Serbians, Bosnians...

You are lucky! The Scots, English, Welsh and Irish can hardly understand each other! The accents are soooooooo different.

I know the accents are different but you must understand at least something  or nothing at all? :o

we also have a lot of dif accents, seems the west-flemish one is most difficult to understand, but I do my best to speak proper dutch

I can understand the Geordies fine, Flatcap.

The Scots and Irish understand each other ok. I'm ok with Welsh accents. I struggle with some of the Southern English ones.

The English really struggle with Scots and Irish accents (or so I've been told).

Loving the member title Anirbas.

I don't speak proper Croatian anymore..not even at school.. only for the essays.. It's different now in highschool because not everyone is from town, some students come from the villages near my town so it's a mix of accents and not even the professors try to convert them to proper Croatian

I speak Croatian..only the dialect from my region- Dalmatia
