Posted April 5, 200718 yr Former TAKE THAT member ROBBIE WILLIAMS will reunite with his old band mates, insists JASON ORANGE. Williams has so far snubbed the opportunity to rejoin Orange, GARY BARLOW, MARK OWEN and HOWARD DONALD - who are experiencing huge success since reforming last year. But the 36-year-old is convinced Williams is tempted by the success Take That have enjoyed second time around - their new album is top of the UK charts – and won't be able to resist the opportunity. Orange says, "Maybe it's my romanticism but I think if we do future albums it's inevitable Rob will sing with us." Edited April 5, 200718 yr by Dino
April 5, 200718 yr I wonder how long it will take before he stops saying Robbie will rejoin  I doubt it will ever happen, but if they ever do something together, it will be a live song at a charity event or something but that's all I think.
April 5, 200718 yr one part of me really wants rob to rejoin with them, but then i think that i didn't like robbie at take that when i was younger, i became a rob hardcore fan because of his solo projects and records.. i want rob to do more albums on his own and i want take that to do more albums cause i still love them too.
April 5, 200718 yr It'd be interesting to see that happen, but to be honest, I hardly associate Robbie with Take That anymore. Only their 90s music. In the 00s, they are very much strong enough as a four-piece.
April 5, 200718 yr I think both TT (as a four-piece) & Robbie are far better off now as separate entities. Even back in the day, Robbie never seemed to be a proper part of the band. I guess it was because of his maverick, funny, charismatic & erratic behaviour. While even back then I always felt that he felt (justifiably in retrospect) frustrated with his limited creative role within the band, behind their Brian Wilson (Gary Barlow). Robbie has done far far better as a solo act than even the biggest optimist could have anticipated, and he has blossomed as an artist beyond most music critics imaginations. While it might be a good idea to do an occasional Charity concert appearance with his former band, or even the odd track on an album. A full-on TT/Robbie reunion won't happen unless Robbie & Gary sort out their personal issues with each other, which I just can't see happening.
April 5, 200718 yr Agree with you totally Thisispop and thank you for saying it how I see it and how it is.
April 5, 200718 yr i can never see them been a 5 piece again although i could see them performing a song together at some stage
April 10, 200718 yr How many rumours, i would prefer it if either robbie or his agent confirms that robbie IS rejoining take that or not
April 10, 200718 yr Robbie Williams could do with some extra publicity. He has always been a publicity seeker. Doing something with Take That is perhaps what he needs to try and relaunch his flagging career.

April 10, 200718 yr Robbie's Rudebox has sold loads more than TT's Beautiful World. So why would he rejoin TT? If his career is flagging their's must be dead in the water. :o
April 10, 200718 yr Robbie Williams could do with some extra publicity. He has always been a publicity seeker. Doing something with Take That is perhaps what he needs to try and relaunch his flagging career. Oh please. You are begining to sound like a tabloid journalist  His flagging career? Is that why his experimental album, despite getting absolutely zero promotion and being anything but commercial or mainstream, reached #1 in 14 countries and sold near 3.5 million to become 2006’s best selling album outside the US by a solo artist? So without doing any sort of promotion or work for the album it still sold far more than TT's hugely promoted album overall globally, so if that's a flagging career then I'd hate to see what you'd call their's. Why would someone who has recently finished a record breaking stadium tour to 3.5 million people and who has sold more albums outside the US than any other music act this century want to go back to being a backing singer in a group who only sell hugely in one place – the UK? I mean honestly. To even suggest it is beyond ridiculous. And if Robbie wanted publicity he would be doing what TT have been doing since last November, appearing on hundreds of TV/Radio shows to promote, but he is taking a rest after his mammoth tour and has a very short attention span so have moved on past Rudebox and onto his next project. Although, there is very rarely a day that goes by when he is'nt in the paper, the press follow him all over the place, even to AA meating which is sick. But that what they are like. -_-

April 10, 200718 yr How many rumours, i would prefer it if either robbie or his agent confirms that robbie IS rejoining take that or not Yes if only, but I doubt he even sees most of what is written, I mean he hasn’t even been in the UK for 7 months, he’s too busy taking his long deserved break in L.A. If only the papers, TT, his mum and anyone else other than Robbie himself would stop speculating. It is getting beyond boring if you ask me. -_-

But that what they are like. -_- Before Christmas Take That sold more albums in one week in UK than Robbie Williams entire Rudebox sales to that date. Take That have become bigger than Robbie Williams. Nobody would have predicted that. So yes, his career is flagging by his standards and if his mum can get him a bit of extra publicity by associating him with Take That, then good for her! :yahoo:
April 10, 200718 yr Is the UK all the matters for record sales then? It's a big world out there.
April 10, 200718 yr Is the UK all the matters for record sales then? It's a big world out there. Take That will smash America now, as Amy Winehouse has, James Blunt, Natasha Bedingfied, Joss Stone etc (but not Robbie!) :yahoo:

If anyone is using anyone for publicity it is clearly TT, by mentioning Rob in interviews endlessly, especially outside the UK. He hasn't so much as given a single interview in way back last year, yet he gets blamed on everything. So amusing. You seem to be only cynicle when it comes to one person, quite worrying, but pretty typicle and predictable at the same time. Btw, I could just say the following: In the official IFPI end of the year GLOBAL chart, Rudebox was years best selling album in the whole world outside the US by a solo artist, while TT didnt even make the top 50 :yahoo: See that logic is rather pointless and childish don't you think?

The truth truely is coming out now is'nt it. The jealousy is remarkable. I am simply gobsmacked at how deluded and immiture you are getting. Rather dissapointing infact, I thought we could have a serious conversation but you seem incapable of doing so without being childish. :(
