The in-direct sequel to 28 Days later. I did have my doubts about this film when I first heard it was gonna be made because I thought the original was brilliant, but from the trailer it looks very good. Due to be released in May later this year.

The first one was an absolute class film, this looks almost as good from the trailer so will definately be seeing it

This looks really good actually... I'm going to see it tomorrow probably... Will report on my findings later..... ;)

Early indications say that this is one of those sequels that turn out to be even better than the original... Hope to Christ this one has a better ending than "28 Days Later", which I thought was just utter tripe and totally at odds with everything that had gone before it....

Saw this last night and I thought it was brilliant. Even better than 28 days later. ^_^

Agreed, with a far more satisfactory conclusion than the original as well, a nice set-up for a possible third film too.... Terrific stuff, the direction and camera work were absolutely amazing, I think technically even better than Boyle's film in many ways... The fire-bombing of the Isle Of Dogs was pretty funny for us Londoners as it is something that pretty much all Londoners fervently wish for, get rid of all them Chavvy 'Millwall' fans.....

i think it was better than the first one but i think that some horror fans may be disappointed as it was not all zombie slaying every two minutes. however think the best part of the film is the pub afterwards trying to compare how the americans would read it and how all the european's would read it

btw you seen intacto???

what's the first movie about?

i might go and see this one ^_^

I think you should really see the first one before seeing the second tbh mate.....

What's the first one about...? Hmmm, well, animal rights people break into a lab, set a monkey free who is infected with a very contagious bio-weapon which sends the subjects into a homicidal, cannibalistic frenzy, monkey goes nuts infects animal rights people, animal rights people in turn infect others who infect just about everyone.... 28 Days Later, a guy wakes up out of a coma and finds that he is about the only one left in London, most others having been evacuated.... He meets up with other survivors, they hear about some army base near Manchester that might be able airlift them to safety..... I'll say no more.... ^_^

cool, i'll check out the first movie some time then.

thanks, grim.

It's probably better if you see the first film before the second, but it's not needed that much. All it does is give background on the virus.

I LOVED this though. :D Better than the orignal. Will be very suprised if there's a better horror film out this year. Was extremley gripping from start to finish and action packed. I loved the fact as well there was zero predictability in it whatsoever, like you really didn't know who was gonna survive till the end.

Is set up very well for another sequel too...

i loved the first part of the original but didnt like the second part, pity there is not a button you can press on your remote that will flip it an play the second half of from dusk till dawn instead (btw vampires vs zombie i think vampires win for me!!!)

I know what you mean about the 2nd part of the original, were they randomly introduce about 10 new characters and then kill them all off. :( Is pretty pointless, but I guess it adds a bit more of a plot to the film. 1st film was more story based, and then 2nd one is more action based. :D

I want to see this SO bad! I haven't seen the first though, what was it about?

First film's about these monkeys that are infected with a rage virus, getting released because of animal rights protectors. One of them gets attacked byt the virus and then the virus spreads from human to human. Is just basically about a couple of survivours who seek help from the army to survive the rage outbreak.

i always remember the line "I got one!" "what do you want? a fukkin sweetie? keep shooting you c**t!"

love the first one.... just the bit where he walks around london by himself is amazing. Best film in recent years for me.
