Posted May 10, 200718 yr R&B star plans Coldplay duet Amerie wants to record with Chris Martin MTV News Parlophone R&B starlet Amerie is hoping Coldplay's Chris Martin will join her in the studio soon for a one-off duet. The Grammy nominated singer/songwriter is currently working on her third album "Because I Love It", and has already recorded a duet with South Korean singer Se7en for the set. However, Coldplay's iconic frontman is her next target after the pair met last year in Germany. She enthuses, "I've always been a fan of Coldplay and Chris and I planned to write together. I love his voice and the band's melodies. "We had a chat last year and ended up swapping numbers with a view to getting into the studio." Would you like to see Chris Martin sing with Amerie or not?
May 10, 200718 yr Actually I think this would be a brilliant duet. :D I don't know why, but I think Amerie's and Chris Martin's voices could both work very well together. :lol:
