I somehow doubt that is true, same goes for the pop concert. Probebly just some tabloid making up stuff as usual. Where did you read it? :unsure:

I really am sick of hearing about this now.. Which is a terrible thing to say cos it's a kid out there somewhere probably being abused, if not dead already, but because of all this BULLSH!T, I just don't wanna hear about it anymore... I feel the same way, and have done for ages now.

I hate to be coldhearted about this all but at this point, I really couldnt care what has happened to Madeleine tbh. Look, it's her parents fault and I honestly think they're milking it to look good. It's really getting on my nerves now, THOUSANDS of children go missing worldwide everyday, but just because this time it was the parents fault we have to see them splashed over the papers everyday about "Madeleine's favorite picture" or "her favorite teddy" or, "the dad forgot about Madeleine's birthday"

 

Be prepared for this to go on for MANY more weeks.

If they'd been some unemployed Wayne and Waynetta Slob types and NOT middle-class Doctors, no one would be giving a fukk, simple as... Yes, I DO believe that this is totally a "Class" thing, 100%... I've honestly lost count of the amount of posters I've seen for missing kids on buses and bus shelters that I've seen since moving down to London and living in areas like Hackney, Holloway and Camden... No one gives a fukk because these kids are WORKING CLASS and usually BLACK or ASIAN as well..... It makes me so fukkin' angry that those kids get forgotten and some little white blond girl is the one who gets all the press hype.... It's WRONG, and it's RACIST and ELITIST..... <_< <_<

i was reading the sun todday cos there was an article about them. They were in an interview anmd someon suggested they were in on it. the way they reacted was rather suspicious.

 

i still believe they sold her.

I read an article in The Sun the other day and it reminded me why I hate it so much.

 

It was just a self-righteous, pretentious prick banging on about how we shouldn't be accusing them at all. Afterall, "they were only 50 yards away from the kids, moreorless from your house to the backgarden", that's all! Ridiculous.

As much as I feel for Madeleine, I don't for the parents at all. What a pair of dickheads to leave their kids in a house by themselves in a foreign country. Anything could've happened to them, a fire, one could've fallen and injured themselves - anything, but like peole have said, no-one seems to be taking that into account because they're f***in middle class. :manson: And now they've got some charity rallying round after them, when they could really be spending their OWN money on all these Pope visits and whatever, seeing as they're raking in 100k between them a year. Though actually, they might be paying for ther own travelling, I've no idea tbh, but I doubt it. -_-

All the headlines yesterday were "We Were Not Involved" and "Despicable" about the suggestions they might be involved. No-one was actually saying they DID do it, just a suggestion, but trust The Sun to kick off.

Madeleine's Parents are now trying to get JK Rowling to put Madeleines

Photo, on a 'Special Book Mark', in every copy of the latest, (or next),

Harry Potter Book.

 

Richard & Judy, say it is a great idea. (They would - THICK!!!!).

 

They add that it was wrong of the Geman Journalist to dare to ask

them if they had any part in their Daughter's disappearance.

They say that only unkind, etc. people would say such a thing.

 

So, far I have seen anyone who dares to criticise the Parents called,

everything from, 'Evil', to 'Cruel', to 'Callous'.

 

According to a Guy in, 'The Sun', only MEN seem to think that the Parents,

should not have left their Kids on their own. He defended them in his Column,

& he said that nearly everone who E-mailed him - to disagree - were Men.

 

Other Columnists make out that mainly people who have never had Kids,

criticise the Parents - some stupid idea that most Parents make mistakes

with their Kids safety at times, & only Childless people would think it bad

enough to condemn the Parents for, in this case!

 

What none of these Journalists, & Richard & Judy, & Fiona Phillips, answer,

is why there is this huge fuss about Madeleine, when no other missing UK Child

has ever had their Parents meeting the Pope about it, someone as

high up as Gordon Brown 'phoning them about it, them travelling in a

Private Plane, a 2.5 Million Pound Reward, Front Page News for Weeks,

no one is allowed to say the least thing 'bad' about the Parents,

Yellow Ribbons on MPs, & at Derby, a Pop Concert, Crimewatch UK interest

- even though it never even happened here, & now, the idea for Madeleine

My question to ALL of these defenders of the Parents, would be:,

 

'Well? Will future & current missing UK Children get ALL of those things too?

And, if not - why not?'

 

The TRUTH is that NO future or current missing UK Child will get most of those

things. Most will get NONE of them.

 

So, Fiona, Richard & Judy & the rest, all come across as people who have decided

that Madeleine is extra special, that they MUST jump on the Band Wagon, & that

anyone who criticises ANY of it, are not very nice people!

 

Well, I don't think they are 'nice people' - making 1 Child seem like her case is

the only really essential missing Child Case EVER, in the UK.

 

The message of all of thse people, is that Madeleine is more important than any

missing UK Child before her - and anyone who dares to disagree is, 'Cruel'.

 

Frankly, THEY come across as Morons! It is THEY who are callous,

their behaviour comes across as:, 'The other missing Kids don't matter

as much as this one!'

 

What next? 'A Song For Madeleine' in the Charts? A Movie? Books?

 

It has all gone way over the top.....We will see that this case was a 'Band Wagon',

for the UK Media, & Celebrities, when the next missing UK Toddler, gets only a

fraction of this attention, from any of these people. THAT will be the proof, as to

what the Madeleine Case really is - A Media Band Wagon.....

Spot on mate... And I know of at least several people on here who have criticised the parents' actions who are parents themselves (eg, Mushy, ICR...), and at least one of those was a woman... So, I do think that women have been criticising them...

 

And you do NOT have to be a parent to have the brains to know that leaving three kids on their own in a hotel room in a foreign country with no child-care support isn't exactly a very sensible idea..... "The Scum" talking bollocks...Again.... <_<

Well - the 'Band Wagon' goes on - according to today's UK 'Papers, now Google

have agreed to change their Search Engine Logo - so that it:, 'Features Madeleine's

distinctive eyes'.

 

Is there to be no end to it?

 

The trouble is that the Parents are now so 'High Profile', & so supported by the UK

Media, that anyone who is approached to help - by them, or their PR Person,

(or PR People), is scared to refuse, as they know that the Media will

tear them to bits, for being 'Evil', & 'Not caring about Madeleine'.

 

And, I know that the Guy in, 'The Sun', was wrong when he made out that it

is mainly only Males who are criticising the Parents - and other Columnists

are just as wrong, to make out that that mainly only, 'People without children', are

doing the criticising.

 

I know this, as I have looked all over The Internet since Madeleine vanished,

& even went to 'Female' Forums, to see what Women thought of it all.

Time after time, Mother after Mother, condemned the Parents, & so I know that this

'Mainly Males', & 'Mainly Childless People', idea, is a load of garbage. (And 'The Sun'

knows perfectly well that many, many Mothers, & other Females, have condemned

Madeleine's Parents on its own Site - in the News Forums there, as I have read a

great many of their Posts).

 

I am Gay, but I know that it is stupid to leave Toddlers alone, while you go out to a

'Local' anything - be it a Cafe, Pub, or Restaurant. Whether you can 'see' your

Home, or Apartment, from where you are sitting, or not. Whether you, 'go home to

check on the children every half hour', or not. ALL of it is STUPID!

 

There is no excuse for it - be you a Doctor, who lives in a nice house, or a Single

Mum, on a Council Estate, BUT - the truth is - if you are a Doctor, a large section

of the Media MAKE EXCUSES FOR YOU! We know damn well, that this would NOT

happen, if Madeleine's Mum had no Husband, & was living on a Council Estate -

the Media would be calling such a Mum, all the names they can think of.

 

The other day - in her, 'Daily Mirror' Column - Fiona Phillips made out, that 'Class'

has nothing to do with the attention given to Madeleine's Case, & the way the Media

treat her Parents. She made out that it would all be the same no matter what

Madeleine's Parents did for a living etc. She said she could not understand the kind

of people who would ever doubt this! (I am TIRED of anyone who sees the TRUTH

in what is going on, being made out to be a bad, or cruel person, & so on!).

 

She works in the Media, she knows damn well that NO previous 'Missing Child' case

has had so much attention in the UK, & so much 'Band Wagon' jumping, excuses made

for the Parents, & now we see Gimmick after Gimmick, that - again - shows that this

Case is being treated with far, far more attention than any other UK 'Missing Child'

Case.

 

Do these Media People think that we are all stupid, & that we think that ALL UK

Cases get this attention?

 

The problem with this Case, is now that Fiona, Richard & Judy, Google, MP's,

JK Rowling, The Pope, & so on, have jumped on THIS Band Wagon - well,

people will be wondering why ALL future Cases do NOT get this happening -

because they won't. Then it will be seen that Madeleine was treated as,

'El Especial Uno', by the UK Media, & so on - 'The Special One'.
