I've been reading The Sun, Mirror and Mail forums over the past week or so and lots of people think that. Lots think there was an accident. Maybe they gave them something to make them sleep and she died. Then,knowing their careers would be ruined,they covered it up,disposed of the body. Think it's far-fetched really but who knows?

Well werent there witnesses at the restaurant who could confirm that the parents were there at that time?

People can confirm them being in the restaurant but they don't know what happened in the room.

Good point. I think your theory sounds quite spot-on tbh, simply because it makes no sense that they wouldve left the kids alone, in an unlocked hotel room/apartment, in a foreign country, especially with a baby sitting service on site.

I personally think it's disgusting to suggest the parents murdered her and it would take such people from the Sun/Mirror forums to suggest such a thing imo. Some of the suggestions I've read are so unbelievably far fetched and if you ask me people are watching too many hollywood films. I can't imagine what it must be like to be the parents and have to hear such sick accusations made. I am sure if someone said it to one of their faces they would'nt be able to contain themselfs from losing it altogether.

my mum said EXACTLY the same thing to me. it made me think....

 

i mean, they left her alone, they called the police 45 minutes after they realised she was missing and they don't appear to give a $h!t on TV and my mum says if her kids went missing, she'd be hysterical - any mother would.

 

she thinks the parents didn't like her, and so set it up to have someone take madaeline in a foreign country and the parents are just going through the routine just to make it look cocher.

It is now three weeks later, you can't expect them to just cry everytime there was a camera. That would be far more suspicious imo.

What gives you the right to call them lying bast*rds? Do you have any proof to make such strong statments?. :blink: If you just came back and found your child missing it could easily take 45 mins before you actually called the police. They probebly would've been frantically running around looking for here all over the complex to find her themselfs first. At first they could've just thought she wandered off.

um....i don't believe they checked every 30 minutes on their children AT ALL. that's MY opinion. and even if they did, they shouldn't have been left on their own anyway. such terrible parents.

What there can be no doubt about in all of this is that they are terrible parents; to leave a child alone in the circumstances they did is unforgiveable, and its debatable whether they should get to keep custody of their other 2 kids (they do have 2 others, right?).

 

We cannot know they are involved in what happened to Madeleine but we certainly cant rule out the possibility. The whole thing is just too odd - something is going on that we dont know about.

Nobody knows what happened. She may not even have been abducted. May have woken up and left that apartment herself. Then who knows.

They do, but with so many people behind the campaign they cant be seen to have given up now, can they.

i don't know, i haven't been watching them. i'm just talking about various articles i've read and information people have told me regarding this topic.

 

as i said earlier though, i think they're going through the motions so nobody suspects.

Suppose you're right. There's even been suggestions that she walked out herself, fell in a deep trench as there were lots waiting to be filled in after recent roadworks. It was done 2 days later. Surely they checked down those though. Awful if she's there isn't it?
