May 23, 200718 yr 2nd goal was great by Milan, gotta hand it to them. Liverpool took a risk, and the risk didn't pay off. Still Liverpool were by far the better team, even if both teams were very wasteful at stages in the game, but still being the better team doesn't count for anything in football now.
May 23, 200718 yr he blew it at 2:43 into stoppage :P there was 3 minutes added on, and the general rule is u add another 30 seconds per substitute ;) and not excuses....fact! Milan should not have even been in this season's competition -_- Match fixing rewards you very well it seems :w00t:
May 23, 200718 yr Well a tough result, but maybe fair. Congrats to both teams at they both did well to get to the final.
May 23, 200718 yr now to whip my tongue in the direction of the "tactical mastermind" Arbeola for Finnan - WHAT? Did Bellamy upset him  why wait for centuries to bring Crouch on? Dominating the play and not scoring doesn't mean your playing well -_-
May 23, 200718 yr now to whip my tongue in the direction of the "tactical mastermind" Arbeola for Finnan - WHAT? Did Bellamy upset him  why wait for centuries to bring Crouch on? Dominating the play and not scoring doesn't mean your playing well -_- I think they brought Arbeola on because he's more attacking than Finnan, was a bit of a waste of a subsitute though. Liverpool did wait too long for Crouch to come on I agree there, but you can see why Rafa left it. The problem with Liverpool playing 4-4-1-1 though, is they haven't quite mastered it yet. Kuyt always goes too deep, so when there's a ball in the bpx, there's nobody there.
May 24, 200718 yr Well for the second time in two ECL Finals between AC Milan & Liverpool the best side on the night finishes up as the loser. Still quite ironic that the Italian side take the lead through a deliberate handball (Inzaghi has admitted that he meant to "deflect" the ball towards the goal). While the ref blew up 17 secs early & that is not accounting for the substitution that AC Milan made in injury time, so the ref should have added an additional 30 seconds. But the bottom line is that Liverpool failed to take their chances, although at least they showed Manchester Utd how to play Football against AC Milan. Still well done to AC Milan, who after all were allowed to compete in this Year's competition despite being found guilty of match fixing & bribing referees in Serie A last season.....
May 24, 200718 yr Kaka went down WAY to easily for the free kick <_< It's a farce that they were allowed in the competition let alone win it -_- It's certainly something when the team that are my own team's main rivals lose and I feel a bit pissed off about it.
