Umbrella will certainly not last any longer than early July. Even if theres no new releases threating the top spot by then sales would be so slow that a song from the top 5 would climb to number 1.

I'm not quite sure about this but I think the same was said for Bryan Adams and Wet Wet Wet and look what happened there :(

And sales would be slow for EVERYONE, not just Rihanna  Except Umbrella is very much a summer song, I can imagine its sales being revitalised come the sumer holidays :(

If anything, Groove Armada and Mutya will knock it off come summer.

And besides, arent we all forgetting Kelly Clarkson here?

There's so much love for Umbrella at the moment, we'll all be hating it come the end of summer when it's still in the chart

Sadly 50 Cent may have a #01 on his hands when its released, he's big with chavs and its a comeback :(

I think Kelly Clarkson *could* do it but she'd fall loads the following week.

Kelly Clarkson's new single is good, but it just isn't commercial enough to stand a chance IMO :(

And Groove Armada is destined for top three but I'm not sure if it will have enough power behind it to make number one

Kelly Clarkson doesn't really have a chance sadly. Radio 1 are ignoring and i've not heard it anywhere else yet (apart from the video once on The Hits)

The downloads not released until the same day either which doesn't really give us an indicator of how well it's going to do

I absolutely lvoe it at the moment but the thought of its inevitable domination this summer is putting me off it already

'Never Again' doesn't stand a chance of making #1, most radio stations seem to have banished it from their playlist for a start. At this rate it'll be low top 10.

I know, but at least with Groove Armada, Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rowland, Take That, Gwen Stefani all out there isnt such an incredible lack of big releases as people are suggesting...

Bah, to think you said that Umbarellah wouldn't even make number one, now we're looking at 8+ week domination

After Breakaway though, Kelly has such a huge and dedicated fanbase that even if only for a week this could easily get to number 1...it would only take 30,000 of the 1,500,000 that bought the last album!

Groove Armada = perhaps

Kelly Clarkson = won't make it, lack of airplay, not commerical enough

Kelly Rowland = won't make it, top 5 at best

Take That = stands a chance, but not sure how third single will far when BW has sold so much already...

Gwen Stefani = third single, top 10, won't make number one if Sweet Escape couldn't

Yes, but Never Again is nowhere near as commercial and catchy as her Breakaway material

Chemical Brothers - Do It Again might do it. Oh and most releases for July and August arent even up yet. I'm hoping Dave Spoon ft Lisa Maffia will do it in August.

But it doesnt matter...if just 10% like it, and of those just 20% buy it, itd make number 1!

What im saying is anything from that list could make number one just for a week because Rihanna's sales will probably have dipped below 30k by mid June..

No chance, sadly :(

But Chems might! Forget about them. Thats gonna be huge.
