Japanese superstar Utada Hikaru covering the U2 classic as part of her Unplugged special, in which she became the youngest act to ever hold one. She also sang such #1 hits of hers as 'FINAL DISTANCE', 'First love' & 'Kettobase!'

opinions? ^_^

Thought I was going to hate this. But no, it was good. She has a nice voice. ^_^ And it's a very difficult song to sing I think.

Twinkle you are so fussy.

I like any female singer who isn't one of those warbler types. So she gets bonus points for that alone. ^_^

I don't like it :(

It has no power and her voice does nothing for me either

 Is she really a superstar????

very much so, in 8 years she's sold 45 million albums, one of them being the biggest selling album in japanese music History ^_^

I think its quite an emotional performance

Like Jups, I thought I would hate it, but it was good imo. She has a very good voice and did'nt do a load of over-singing like certain other female singers would've done. :P

Could have been worse....you're right about that :P

But I still don't like it

I'm not a big fan of female singers...never was

In fact, if I go out to a pub/club and there's Live Music, I get all crotchety if the lead singer is female. I won't dance or anything. I just sit and scowl.
