Today I actually went to see our brand new stadium by going to see the League One playoff final and let me tell you it's a fantastic stadium  This is coming from someone who went to see three England games at the old one (including the very last one against Germany) and was with the vast majority in calling it a '$h!thole' which is basically was. It's strange when I pointed out to my mate around where the seat sat in in the Germany game probably was and then describing the time when David Beckham was taking a shot and pointing to where a pillar that blocked my view of it probably was considering modern construction has meant that you can see it all wherever you are with no pillars. Everything about it is just brilliant and to top it all off it was a great game to watch too and every football fan in the country should go down to see it for themselves imo. :cheer:

well if they placed the national stadium in the middle of the country so we could all get there we would <_<

Why does London have everything -_-

Nice stadium though  even if it was too expensive  I'm just disapointed they spent all that money and went for cheap cardboard looking ad boards when electronic ones are far superior

Because London is the best city in the WORLD let alone the country plus it's our capital city. Plus the north of England (ESPECIALLY the midlands) is an absolute $h!thole  Plus London of course has the best transport system especially with how smoothly everyone got out and onto the trains wherever they needed to go etc. without any fuss or overcrowding.

but for us in the North north it's a long way to travel, and the train companies kindly up their prices on cup days <_<

I was there too :o

Brilliant stadium yes, but a few problems imo

The roads leading up to it are a $h!t tip and for it to be the pride of Britain is a let down. They should have sorted the roads out first, made proper links from the motorways, or at least resurface what's there at the moment

Another problem is with the actual stadium being in Wembley

Imo it should be in the midlands so fans from the UK have an even distance to travel

Why put ANYTHING in the midlands let alone something that people from around the world are going to come to?

And it's a stupid thing to drive to London let alone down to Wembley  The trains were brilliant as I said though. You wouldn't be able to get a train that goes straight to it anywhere else in the country.

The trains were either fully booked or shut down as alot of them were having railworks done on them, but still alot of people would go by coach because it's cheaper, I would have got the train had it been running :P

Birmingham isn't the middle of nowhere is it :o It makes it much easier for anybody north of London because London's a nightmare in itself

A bit like Manchesters got the velodrome, fair enough it's not quite on a par with Wembley
