Charley DELIBERATELY over-dramatised and stage-managed that whole racist comment thing. It could've been handled in hushed, non-dramatic tones in a private place... did you notice how she simply COULDN'T let the issue drop?

From suggesting and agreeing to keep the conversation between just the 3 of them, she then DELIBERATELY brought it up AGAIN in the bedroom in front of everyone when she needn't have for attention. And tonight she's talking about hiw she'll be on the front of the newspapers after this.

Charley's media-savvy and she saw what happened with Shilpa and the racist thing, how it helped her win the show and make her the media darling from this year's CBB - and she wants the same - something like this is EXACTLY what she wanted. She took the comment with zero problem initially... then you could almost see the dollar signs flash in her eyes. She's a clever girl...a great manipulator... Emily was evicted... Charley's role as the 'race victim' can begin. And you know what? It's bollox.

She's a total drama queen actress. PLEASE don't tell me she was offended by Emily's comments. I don't believe it for a minute, however unacceptable they may seem. The n**** term is used in virtually every sentence of speecdh by several black people I know. You can't be offended by one person calling you a name - but not the other when they call you exactly the same name. Charley is a street wise girl...a proper 'street' hard-nosed girl... she's been called FAR worse things I bet... and not in a friendly way, as Emily used that term, either.

OK, Emily IS vile and not too bright... but she was made a scapegoat. By Big Brother... and by Charley.

I think you need to re-watch the show mate...

Charley WAS quite clearly shocked by it all. My god, even if Charley wanted to act shocked she couldnt keep her gob shut, shes a natural chatterer, and the fact that she was literally speechless spoke louder than her words ever could! Note it was Shabnam who wouldnt let the issue drop in the garden, because Charley was embarassed, and in the bedroom she just said there'd be a comment made, thats all. Why lie? Emily HAD to go.

^I agree Charley baited it up that Emily said N and she kept on telling everyone. even when the convo had nothing to do with what happened. like when Laura was speaking to them, she kept on saying "i still cant believe you just said that" . making it bigger and bigger. and then she "acted" worried when emily was in the DR. kmt

exactly... Charley knew full well a race scandal was a goldmine for her... she wasn't bothered at all when the remark was made... at all. She even joked about it immediately after.

Speechless? Charley? Jark... were you watching the same show that I was? When the conversation was about something entirely different in the bedroom... what was Charley alluding to again and again, bringing it up again and again?

I'm glad Emily's gone... but don't portray Charley as a victim, please......

Anyone who gets called that by a white person IS a victim, no matter how nasty they may be themselves. And Charley only joked about it straight after because she clearly felt very embarassed and awkward...Emily had made that into an awful situation.

Thats Full Truth :D

I actually wouldnt surprise me, if She's on front on all the Newspapers, Race Victim Again :( :( etc. etc.

Charley knew exactly what she was doing...

Charley was trying to DEFUSE the situation, she almost whispered her replies to Emily whereas she could have ranted and raved and shouted and screamed and would have been within her rights to hit Emily. Do you remember how Victor reacted when Emma called him a n***** ? he went at her with a knife and a plate of sandwiches, compare that with Charley's calm composed reaction

Yeah, when Emily first said n*****, she reacted calmy...

But whats her excuse for going and making it in public, in front of 3/4 of the Housemates then?

She played on it, i have no doubt in my mind. Once she thought about it, and realised what happened with the Celebrity edition.

She was basically rubbing her hands together -_-

Was she bollox! If she wanted to make a fuss, she wouldve told everyone...she didnt even want Shabnam to bring it up, she was only comfortable talking about it to Nicky...

It was about 6 hrs after the incident that it was mentioned in the bedroom, it was like 2am or something and that was only because Shabnam and Nicky had been spreading rumours about what happened, Nicky and Shabnam were far more active bringing up the race issue and even 6 hrs later Charley denied in the bedroom being called a n*****

Nicky wasnt spreading any rumours? Laura was, wasnt she?

Nicky was the one that told Shabnam in the first place as Shabnam came outside too and confronted Emily, one of Nicky or Shabnam must have spread the original rumours that Laura heard about

Noo, didnt Charley tell Shabnam? When they were on the sofa and Shabnam was massaging her as Emily did charades?

Yeah exactly

Who did she tell? The housemate with the biggest bloody mouth, who Charley knows for a fact will make a big fuss out of it. SHABNAM.

She knew EXACTLY what she was doing

Shabnam is her little sheep, Charley is a crude little skank.

I think your Charley vendetta has tinted your viewing glasses

Shabnam is also a non white, Charley probably had been bottling it up and needed to get it off her chest and tell someone and she felt most comfortable telling a non white person

I think Charley is a VILE person but I fail to see what she did wrong in this instance

Ryan, I think youre probably underestimating the self-esteem you lose when youre called a name like that, even for a joke. She looked heartbroken in an odd sense.
