Coldplay announce fourth album plans

Coldplay have revealed plans for their fourth studio album, including various song titles and a statement on the record's length.

Songs currently in the running to appear on the untitled LP include 'Lost!', 'Violet Hill', 'Poppy Fields', 'Yes!', 'Leftrightleftrightleft', 'Rainy Day' and 'Cemeteries Of London'.

The band also announced that they will be releasing two tracks, which don't make the final album, separately.

The 'Yellow' rockers added that they are aiming to make a much shorter and more concise record fourth time around.

Writing on their official blog, they said: "The plan has always been to make a short record. No more than 42 minutes. 9 songs (give or take)."

42 minutes  way too short :(

But good to see some new track titles

I prefer shorter albums rather than 70 odd minute studio albums.
