August 1, 200717 yr Author Didn't he go to Newcastle on loan last season and absolutely flop though ? maybe he was injured or something I dunno his stats but was pretty sure his loan spell was not a success so if he was not good enough to be a success at Newcastle that would suggest he is nowhere near ready for Man Utd first team No he didn't flop. He started about 4 times and made a handful of substitute appearances in which they played him in MIDFIELD :manson: Completely bemusing seen as it was at the time of Newcastle's striker crisis. He was originally set to stay at Newcastle for longer but Fergie brought him back because he wasn't getting the experience and appearances at St James'.
August 2, 200717 yr Typical Fat Sam signing, seems to be building a team of thugs up there with Viduka, Barton, Smith and so on, am surprised he never went for Kevin Davies Mind you some very interesting developments might be happening with the Barcodes soon if rumours are true ;)
August 2, 200717 yr ^ Yeah was just gonna say that. The only place that seems to know about it are The Daily Mirror though. There's been nothing in the local paper (who usually hear about these things first), and nothing on the club's website or even BBC Sport :/
August 2, 200717 yr Newcastle have agreed a £6m fee with Man Utd for Alan Smith. yet another copycat target. Seems Big Sam looks to see who Boro want before making offers :arrr: and the Tevez saga may be over tomorrow :o
August 3, 200717 yr Man Utd have been given the all clear to sign Tevez now. Great signing for Man Utd. They should win the title with ease now .if all these new players they've bought fit in and gel together easily

They should win the title with ease now .if all these new players they've bought fit in and gel together easily Disagree, I think it is the wrong signing for them Great player but he is too similar to Rooney, both are short and stocky, both have strength and so on, I think 1 of them will struggle
August 3, 200717 yr They should win the title with ease now .if all these new players they've bought fit in and gel together easily Man Utd fans will know better than me on this but where will all these new players play? I assume Tevez will replace Saha and Hargreaves might replace Scholes/Carrick, but what about Anderson/Nani?
August 3, 200717 yr Ghaly has changed his mind about a transfer to Birmingham :manson: Pie-do and Ghastly are our Winston Bogarde :( impossible to shift and just happy to pick up our money
August 3, 200717 yr I never thought Ghaly was that bad, though he's certainly not good enough for you. Do you still have Danny Murphy?
August 3, 200717 yr Ooops, thought I was in Blur vs Oasis! Edited August 3, 200717 yr by RabbitFurCoat
August 3, 200717 yr I never thought Ghaly was that bad, though he's certainly not good enough for you. Do you still have Danny Murphy? Birmingham is about his level, he is not a bad player but is a mid table level player, unfortunately him and Mido are on like £40k a week or something stupid and refuse to take pay cuts so are hard to shift Murphy is still with us yeah, there are some clubs interested but again wages are proving to be the problem, the only sorta teams that will pay the sorta wages these guys are on are teams that they are not good enough for I can see the 2 Egyptians going in the end on Bosman's and just sitting there collecting their £40k a week :(
