Why are you interested and suitable to moderating this forum?

Mariah Carey is my favourite musical artist of all time, I'm a massive fan. I own all of her albums and know each one like the back of my hand. I post regularly in the Mariah forum and will no doubt be posting a lot more with the release of her new single, album, perfume and movie soon.

 

 

 

What do you feel you would bring to the forum?

I will continue to bring what I already bring to the forum. I will post regular Mariah news and comment on her music past and present.

Here on BJ, I have moderated the Amy Winehouse & Gwen Stefani forums. I have experience in talking about Mariah and her music, also on BJ in her artist forum.

Why are you interested and suitable to moderating this forum?

Well, for the obvious reasons - I am a huge Mariah Carey fan, however I am not going to lie, I have only been a fan for a short time, well since March 2005 - I do however own all her albums and shall be investing in some of her dvds soon.

 

 

What do you feel you would bring to the forum?

Well I'd hope that I could bring new fans, like myself a few years ago, I would have loved an oppertunity years ago, to join a forum full of fans of the same artist - absolutely fantastic!

Absolutely none, however I would like to give it a go.

Roughly.....4 hours a night, 28 hours a week - however on special evenings (Crimbo, New Years Eve), I spend longer.

Why are you interested and suitable to moderating this forum? Oasis are my favourite band, ever. I see that the Oasis forum needs some work so hopefully I could get some activity, there must be more Oasis fans on the board as they are a very popular band worldwide, I've done modding before on similar forums and hope I can help this forum so it will not become like the "Morrissey and The Smiths Forum". My best bet would be to try and make the forum more attractive and try to get more posts and views from guests. I wouldn't stop my responsibilites with the Razorlight forum in any way shape or form.

Why are you interested and suitable to moderating this forum? Because The Libertines are my favourite band of all time and I think I can keep it active as I regularly hunt for news regarding their current projects.

 

 

 

What do you feel you would bring to the forum? Being a big fan I feel I have a lot of ideas about posting informative topics for people who don't know much about The Libertines and their various spinoffs as well as the obvious discussions about Pete's lifestyle.

Libertines and Pete in particular have been something of an interest to me since the early 2000s and still are very much to this day. Own all the albums etc. and find them on the whole a very interesting topic of discussion.

 

What do you feel you would bring to the forum?

Everything I possibly could. News, excitement, activity. I'd try my hardest to make it work. I'd like to think my passion for the acts are highlighted by the fact I managed to get the required number of votes in such a short period of time [with help from others obviously :P ]

Why are you interested and suitable to moderating this forum? I have been a fan of Christina since the very beginning of her muscial career and have watched her grow and taken great interest in how she's developed as an artisy, so naturally I would love to moderate her forum as a means of giving back to her even though she'll never see it some of the joy, inspiration and escapism she's given me through her music =)

 

What do you feel you would bring to the forum? I like to think that any post I make is an intelligent, well thought out and fair input so this would channel into my moderating. I am a fair and compassionate person but also won't stand for any nastiness/bad behaviour!

My main interest is and always has been the music charts. The majority of my posts are made in the Chart Chart forum so I am familiar with how it works and have built up friendships with it's users. I have an eye for chart information from sources such as TV, radio, other websites which I am always happy to post

 

What do you feel you would bring to the forum?

I feel that I would keep it up to date and interesting - a fun place to visit, but still make sure that it remains profressional and mature. I would be helpful & reliable and work as a team with the other moderator but also make independent decisions where necessary.

Me favourate forum has always been the Chart chat forum. I often post sales data, predicts and chart news in the forum. I am well known on the forum with my Predict the position posts. I always listen to the chart on a sunday and I have details on other charts which i can post (Billboard chart, download chart)

 

What do you feel you bring to the forum

I would post up to date charts and sales info. I would let everyone have there say on the forum but if someone/something got out of hand, I would remove it from the forum.

The main reason I joined Buzzjack was for the chart info...I have a huge interest in music charts from around the world and regularly post in not only the UK chart topics but also, US Hot 100, Aria Charts and European chart topics...I have been on this forum for a year and a half and I'm not about to go anywhere!!!

I already post a huge amount in Chart Chat but I could also bring extra charts, other data to the table!

I had my own forum about two years back which I closed...I have been a moderator on 3 or 4 different forums and I am currently the pop forum moderator, starting many successful threads, the most dominant of which being a pinned topic *The Pop Videos Thread*, an alphabetical list of music videos which people can add to at any time and which I will then add to the alphabetical directory on page one!

3 hours per day average...whenever I am on the internet, I am logged into Buzzjack...perhaps 20 hours a week!

Why are you interested and suitable to moderating this forum? - I joined ChartClarity when that was running and ran the Album predicta game under the name of markedman (maybe some can remember). I spend a lot of time on Buzzjack and joined it mainly for the chart information. I look forward to chart predictions and the various games on the Chart Chat forum (I also spend some time in the reality forum discussing Big Brother/X-Factor/American Idol.....).

 

What do you feel you would bring to the forum? - As you probably know I currently run the weekly song survivor, resurecting it from the days of ChartClarity. However in addition to that I would be able to post news on charts and keep everyone up to date on stories breaking out, I could also post the Woolworth's chart if there was demand for it as I often see people asking if a song is stocked in Woolies if it's not doing well in the main chart as that might be the reason why.

 

What experience do you have? - I have no experience actually moderating but I keep a backlog record of ALL singles charts as far back as June 1996, all of the Download charts since it started a couple of years ago and have been keeping a record of the album charts for about 2 years. I also spent time presenting radio shows on hospital radio, two shows a week, one of which concentrated solely on chart music, the chart itself and chart information plus info on new releases.

 

How much time do you spent on BuzzJack per day / week? - am normally on for 3-5 hours per day, but when I get the internet at home (within the next week or 2) I'll be on for a lot longer than that - I'll have it running most of the time!!

Well I must admit that I don't read that much, but I am a huge Harry Potter fan as I think pretty much everyone has sussed by now :lol: I also enjoy reading Graphic Novels particularly X-Men and Justice League of America.

I visit a lot of different Harry Potter sites on a regular basis so would be able to bring news and interesting topics to the subforum. I would also act as a helpful, reliable and friendly member to everyone within the forum, assisting in answering questions and generally keeping the forum tidy.

Was a moderator of a large Harry Potter forum from January 2005 and became a Global Moderator in June 2005. I kept my position until November 2006 when the forum closed. I have also moderated the Christina Aguilera forum, Personal Charts forum and of course, the Book Corner itself before university took it's toll (I should point out that I am not back at uni until the 20th September and even then, more course is more relaxed as I only go to lectures/seminars 3 days a week :D)
