MUM-TO-BE Charlotte Church is planning a huge, “all-singing, all-dancing†wedding next month…in a Welsh castle.

 

The 21-year-old singer, who is expecting her first child with Welsh rugby star Gavin Henson in September, started preparations the moment she found out she was pregnant.

 

She has already persuaded close pal Will Young to perform as she walks down the aisle. And she’s lined up Gavin’s national team-mates to sing at the lavish reception.

 

A traditional Welsh choir is also booked. And she herself intends to write a special love song to sing to Gavin, 25.

 

A source close to Charlotte told the Daily Star Sunday: “Charlotte has been writing lists of things to do. She’d been waiting for Gavin to propose but, as soon as they discovered she was pregnant, it was full steam ahead.

 

“She wants it to be the biggest wedding Wales has ever seen and is pulling out all the stops to make it a day she’ll never forget.

 

“It’s going to be a very traditional Welsh ceremony but, once that is out of the way, the emphasis is definitely going to be on having fun – a good old-fashioned knees-up.

 

“A lot of people were worried she was taking on too much and didn’t have enough time to sort things out. But the preparations have been going so well it looks like she’ll be Mrs Henson by the end of next month.â€

 

Charlotte has always wanted to get married at gothic Castell Coch near her home city of Cardiff.

 

And, said the friend: “Following a last-minute cancellation, it looks like her dream will come true. Life really couldn’t be better for Charlotte – she’s never been so happy.â€

 

Curvy Charlotte is also urging her parents to renew their wedding vows on the same day. Mum Maria, 40, and stepdad James, 41, came close to divorce after James admitted cocaine-fuelled romps with one of Maria’s close friends.

 

But the troubled couple have managed to put it all behind them and are now considering Charlotte’s offer. The source added: “Last year was a particularly difficult time for the whole family. But with Charlotte and Gavin’s help, they managed to sort out their problems.

 

“Maria got her teeth into a new business venture by opening up a swanky boutique and James patiently waited for her to get over his infidelity.

 

“It’s taken the best part of a year but Maria is finally looking to the future again with James by her side.

 

“She’s really excited about becoming a grandmother and will be there for Charlotte every step of the way.

 

“Charlotte’s made no secret of the fact she’s going to put her career on hold to be a housewife and mother. But she’s also planning to help her mum out at the shop.â€

 

Charlotte and Gavin met after a night out in November 2004 when Charlotte was still dating Kyle Johnson.

 

After splitting with Kyle, she texted Gavin to congratulate him after a match and their relationship blossomed.

Aww, I read this in my copy this month :wub:

Don't we get the most insightful interviews in the gay mags. I expect Will feels so much more comfortable in these interviews when he knows there's no one waiting to point the finger or poke fun. Poor love it must have been awful for him at boarding school. :cry: All these experiences have made him the beautiful determined man he is today, sensitive yet so very strong. :wub:
