Oh is the flower festival at the church connected to the school I teach at - I have NEVER seen anything quite so spectacular and beautiful!

Not really Flatty. Just wondered if you've visited any up here. I'm not religious at all but I love old buildings so any ancient church, chapel or cathedral tends to attract the Jupsy. ^_^

 

The only church I've ever felt quite strange inside was Rosslyn Chapel. I visited it years ago before all the Da Vinci Code c**p and I felt something as soon as I walked inside. Not spookiness. Just a sense of something. :blink:

I have been to Jedburgh Abbey just over the border with my grandfather a couple of years ago. We were going to go onto Melrose Abbey but the weather was too bad.

 

I'm a big fan of old buildings as well Jups. Got hooked onto churches, cathedrals and ruins a while ago though.

I've been to both Jedburgh and Melrose Abbeys.

 

I'll try to find a photo of my local church (where my mum and dad got married). Hold on. ^_^
