June 14, 200718 yr I really wish this thread could be kept closed for longer each week because I am sick and tired of the amount of slagging off and music bashing in the main daily update thread so I can get the chart updates without wading through pages of tripe. I happen to be an indie fan and the current slagging off of The White Stripes single is really p***ing me off. But then the amount of slagging that other genres/ songs get is really tiresome as well. Cut the slagging off everybody! I do agree.. it's why i avoid the sunday chart thread... really hard to see where people are charting due to the 35 pages of "omgz i hate that talentless WHORE *insert i think my music taste is cool emotion*"

I don't know what you mean by that, its kept locked for two days, basically that's all the chart info for the week, its only on a rare occasion we get an update on a Friday, I've only opened it today, and you are not shifting thru pages to find all the neccessary updates, like the other thread topic. If you asking for it to be kept locked every week without chat that can be arranged.

June 14, 200718 yr I must agree with grebo69, I've been interested in the number one for the first time in ages and the White Stripes have had a torrent of abuse in between random questions and hopes for Kelly R and Kelly C - both who are well past their sell-by-date. I don't even like the White Stripes that much but I love weeks when something other than pre-programmed R n B is challenging for the top spot. The 'indie' buzzjackers don't enter this thread much but most of our opinions have been down by the poppies who 'hate the noise' of the Stripes who, if anything, sound more like an authentic chart band of the past than plastic pop star X with production by hip producer Y. Unjust really...
June 15, 200718 yr Erm excuse me. I don't really care what music is being successful but I think it makes a change for people to be complaining about the indie bias for once. Half of the time on this board there's people slagging off pop and RNB and dance left right and centre - all the so called 'INDIE Buzzjackers' as you put it. I won't name names but they think their opinion is above everybody else and they can slag off whatever they want. So I don't really think its fair in turn for them to start complaining.
