June 14, 200719 yr erm so is radio one just an indie music station now... oh, they play RnB too... cos that is cool in america, of course Less than half are rock/indie/emo albeit only just.

June 14, 200719 yr Well in the top 75 charts, while it's not a majority (over half), about 30 of the top 75 is indie/alt/emo/rock, so Radio 1 are just playlisting what's most popular in the UK ^_^ The playlist has had the same amount of indie for some time now, so why is all this starting now? :blink: Unless i've missed it all going on before :unsure:

June 14, 200719 yr Indie is a term that used to mean on an independant label. Most of what is considered to be indie is just pop. As is popular, but it just gets tagged as indie now... There is still an indie chart which shows what is still indie and doesn't include the mainstream pish like Razorlight.
