July 5, 200718 yr scott... what i was trying to do is consider the ramifications of having people, proffessional people working amongst us, people who we trust, that could be plotting to kill us. it aint about tabloid headline c**p.. i dont read 'em! i dont think the local curry house is going to poison us...lol.. but im highlighting the fact that bombers arnt always some shadowy figures skulking in the shadows on the edge of society. But mate, you have to ask yourself WHY...?? Why would doctors who have sworn an oath to "do no harm", there has to be a reason for it... We cant just bury our heads in the sand and trot out the tired Govt position that Iraq and Foreign Policy has nothing to do with what is going on, it has EVERYTHING to do with what's going on, one Iraqi and two Palestinians were part of this plot, how can our and America's dirty deeds in the Middle East fail to have some bearing on their actions.....?
July 5, 200718 yr I agree grimsly so many innocent people have been killed in their countries im not saying its right to kill brits and americans because of what they did to them but i understand where they're coming from

July 5, 200718 yr Want to give my opinion here which I'm entitled to. George Bush is a great President. He has guts. Saddam needed stopping and George did it. WMD or not he was an evil dangerous man. He's where he belongs now. Posters here who say we should have left him alone consider this. What if he and Blair told a few lies. So what? At least the to**er Saddam is dead. The UN was spineless. George did the job. Pity he can't run for a third term. If more world leaders had guts like George and Tony, ie the spineless French, the world would be a better place. Okay it made us a target but so what? The job needed doing and was done. End of. Oh and I live in East London and my wife works in Central London, travels on the tube every day. I cheered when George bombed Iraq. They weren't "dirty deeds" either Grimly, as you call them. They needed doing. We need more great world leaders like George and Tony, real men with backbone, prepared to do what's right. Edited July 5, 200718 yr by coolchris

You cheered at the MURDER of 27,000 innocent civilians at the hands of B52 bombers during Shock and Awe which was premeditated murder by cluster bombing residential districts of Baghdad, whatever floats your boat I guess   Why isn't your beloved George doing anything about the genocide in East Timor ? why was he doing nothing when over 3 MILLION Rwandans were being butchered ? why isn't he doing anything about Mugabe ? why isn't he doing anything about genocide in Sudan and Liberia ? what is happening in all those countries is just as bad if not worse than Saddam Hussein was doing so why aren't the troops out there liberating the people ?? you know why and I know why, so why don't we cut to the chase eh ? Iraq was about OIL nothing more and nothing less, 27,000 innocents were murdered by Bush and Blair over OIL, Saddam Hussein was not a threat to the West Edited July 5, 200718 yr by Vic Vega

Why if George is so bad did he win a second term in 2005 then? Iraq was bombed in 2003. Saddam may not have been an immediate threat but was hardly a Saint was he? You lot would have left him killing his own people. Bush did the right thing, despite the daft gutless UN. He should sort North Korea and Iran out too, end his fine Presidency on a bang. July 6, 200718 yr You cheered at the MURDER of 27,000 innocent civilians at the hands of B52 bombers during Shock and Awe which was premeditated murder by cluster bombing residential districts of Baghdad, ......... conveiniently forgetting that sadam was butchering his own people and would have carried on doing so if he was left alone! one way or another people were going to die.

'never again' we constantly here by those dwelling in the past, they conveiniantly overlook all the other genocides that go on in the world right now. im not saying the holocaust wasnt bad... but ffs... killing is killing and should be evenly abhored.

Yes the bang of North Korean nukes landing on American cities would certainly be quite a bang :naughty: you clearly forget that North Korea has nukes you numpty And America are getting their asses kicked in Iraq how the fukk are they going to take on the Iranian military who are one of the best trained and most formidable armies in the arab world ?? He won a 2nd term because 1) The incompetence of John Kerry 2) The speech by Osama Bin Laden saying he would like a Kerry victory 3) Because many Americans haven't got the intelligence to know otherwise 4) Through vote fraud and glitches in electronic voting. July 6, 200718 yr ......... conveiniently forgetting that sadam was butchering his own people and would have carried on doing so if he was left alone! one way or another people were going to die. Yes he was but there are dozens of countries in the world where stuff as bad if not worse than what Saddam Hussein was doing was going on, a life to me is a life be it an America, Iraqi, Zimbabwean or whatever, I am not suggesting that Saddam was a nice man but there are still many Saddam's out there today plying their trade and being allowed to go unpunished because their is no oil in their country

We need more great world leaders like George and Tony, real men with backbone, prepared to do what's right. You're a fool Chris... For a start, George Bush never actually "won" the 2000 election anyway, he was "elected" to office through an incredibly dubious process involving his brother, the Governor of Florida, and a lot of black voters being "mysteriously" struck off the electoral register for highly suspect reasons... This was not an election, it was a coup d'etat, and everything that has followed on has been as a result of this... Bin Laden struck at America in 2001 because the son of his arch enemy was in power, I actually doubt Sept 11 would have happened at all had Al Gore been President... Notice Bush's reaction to the attack at the twin towers, he sat there like some kind of inbred numpty reading a fukkin kid's book... THIS is your "great leader"?????

Where was Britain and the US when the genocide in Rwanda was taking place...? What exactly is America's and Britain's position on what's going on in the Sudan...? What about all the war planes and other WMDs we routinely sell to the horrifyingly repressive regime in Burma...? No oil in those countries, so we dont give a fukk... Oh, and yeah, there IS the small matter of us routinely kissing China and Russia's arse even though both of THOSE countries are run by criminal, murderous madmen..... But, hey, they're CAPITALISTS now, right...? So that makes it okay..... <_<

As for Iran, well, if we were foolish enough to even attempt an invasion there, we wouldn't just be dealing with a bunch of insurgents, we'd be dealing with the entire country, whether people acutually support Ahmadinejad or not (and the majority actually don't like the guy), they would certainly NOT want to see their country invaded by the Americans and Brits...
July 6, 200718 yr end his fine Presidency on a bang. "Fine Presidency"????? Are you actually serious with this comment mate????? I mean, even taking aside the whole "Iraq" thing, this man has been utter POISON for the American people and the American economy (I dont know a single American who actually has anything nice at all to say about the man)..... America is over THREE TRILLION DOLLARS in the red because of his disastrous economic policies, compared to Clinton's masterful handling of the American economy and of domestic issues in general, what Americans have been enduring for the past 7 years has been the politics of fukkin' Noddy and Big Ears.... How can you go from a surplus in the Clinton years to a HUGE deficit thanks to Bush Jr....?? As Clinton once said "It's the economy, stupid"...... The only reason Bush won the election in '04 was because the Democrats picked a candidate who was frankly the WRONG man for the job (Kerry had all the charisma of a dead fish..), Howard Dean should have been the nominee, he would've wiped the floor with Bush Jr on the issues. But, naaah, w/ankers that they are, they picked Kerry simply because he was a sodding "war veteran".... <_< Idiots.... Here's hoping they actually get it bloody well right next time and pick Hillary Clinton....

FULL TRUTH I disagree about Hilary Clinton though, her popularity ratings are so low that she would not win the presidency and we could well end up with Bush II in the VILE Mitt Romney who seems to be heading for the nomination atm. Given his standing among younger people and the MTV generation over green issues and the fact he won the presidency legitimately in 2000 and was only beaten by Mugabe style cheating tactics by the Bush family I think Gore should be the democratic candidate. Bill Clinton was probably the best president there has been in my lifetime and I think Gore would be far better than the very divisive Hillary Clinton. The important thing is to get rid of the republicans and the VILE murderous Bush regime (Cheney, Rumsfeld and so on) and I think Gore would do better among ordinary voters than Hilary I live in hope that one day we will see Bush / Cheney / Rumsfeld swinging from gallows for genocide Edited July 6, 200718 yr by Vic Vega

Well, if Gore can do it, then I reckon he damn well should, then the US could get the President they should've had in 2000..... And I agree, Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld should all be tried in an Iraqi court for war crimes and crimes against the people of Iraq... One important name missing there though mate - Tony Blair, who I regard as an accessory and co-conspirator before, during and after the fact.... So, he should be swinging as well....
