Posted July 1, 200718 yr The top 10 - 1st July. 01. Rihanna - Umbrella 02. Kate Nash - Foundations 03. Enrique Iglesias - Do You Know? (The Ping Pong Song) 04. The Enemy - Had Enough 05. Lee Mead - Any Dream Will Do 06. The Hoosiers - Worried About Ray 07. Jack Penate - Torn On The Platform 08. Kelly Rowland Feat. Eve - Like This 09. Calvin Harris - The Girls 10. Reverend And The Makers - Heavyweight Champion Of The World This weeks Top10 above. Having successfully guessed a number of chart moves not far wrong, it seems appropriate to wildly guess at next weeks chart and make a fool of myself! Next week At the top, Rihanna and Kate are neck and neck again, with Kate just taking it by a whisker. Fingers crossed  I predict the enemy will drop out of the Top10 due to high physical sales which will take effect in falling for the second week. What else to enter? Well Avril Lavigne is out on physical this week which should easily ensure a Top10 spot somewhere - I'm guessing about #5 Natasha Bedingfield is also out on physicals and with promotion on the Diana concert, Top10 looks likely for Soulmate. Another challenger now #6 on iTunes download chart is 'Timbaland, D.O.E. & Keri Hilson', Timbaland can't seem to do anything wrong so seems this will be Top10 this coming week or the week after. At a guess next week it will just manage the low end of the Top10. What else? Another record that can't be discounted is 'Bobby Valentino - Anonymous', doesn't seem good enough to me, but like Ne*Yo before him this could turn out to be one of those records that springs out of nowhere. Let's hope not. Top10 possible newbies Avril Natasha Bedingfield Timbaland Bobby Valentino :arrr:
July 1, 200718 yr I think the Diana concert will have an effect on the album chart and should give a boost in sales to artists that performed tonight. I also think one or two old songs may appear on the singles chart as a result too, probably top 75.
July 1, 200718 yr I don't think Bobby Valentino will pose much of a threat, he's more or less a one hit wonder here and this single won't change that, probably low top 30 at best. Natasha Bedingfield had better get top 10, or there shall be trouble.
July 1, 200718 yr Also Live Earth concert next Saturday will have some effect on the chart, but I see Saturday sales less than normal as most people will be watching Live Earth.
July 1, 200718 yr I dont think he needed to sing it for people to start downloading it. he will be in there somewhere I reckon
July 1, 200718 yr Author I think the Diana concert will have an effect on the album chart and should give a boost in sales to artists that performed tonight. I also think one or two old songs may appear on the singles chart as a result too, probably top 75.Yes, agreed. Maybe some of the records will rise again. Like Nelly Furtado - Say it right. Lily Allen's Album will do okay, at a guess. Also Supertramp - Breakfast in America and Rod Stewart's greatest hits etc.
July 1, 200718 yr But Live Earth is on a Saturday not Sunday, so next week's chart will have the effect of both, people would download during the day when the Live Earth Concert is on.
July 1, 200718 yr I would hope to see Reverend and the Makers stick at 10, I can see it hovering round that mark for a couple more weeks. Defintately Avril for Top 10, probably Top 3. I also predict an 8th week for Rihanna at the top.
July 1, 200718 yr I think Nelly's Loose will climb quite a bit, and possibly I'm Like a Bird could make a re-appearance :D
July 1, 200718 yr I think Fergie's ''Big Girls Don't Cry'' could make a surprise entry in the Top 10 on downloads alone :cheer:
July 2, 200718 yr The top 10 - 1st July. 01. Rihanna - Umbrella 02. Kate Nash - Foundations Next week At the top, Rihanna and Kate are neck and neck again, with Kate just taking it by a whisker. Fingers crossed  Neck & neck *again*? Rihanna outsold Kate by 3-2 this week... :)
