July 3, 200718 yr It's not going to work with the BuzzChart or the Rate at the moment. It's wants something in an ordered list, where 1 is the highest, 2 is second highest etc. Neither the rate or the Buzzchart are like that. The BuzzChart is like that! 1 - Jester 2 - Graham etc...
July 3, 200718 yr Author The BuzzChart is like that! 1 - Jester 2 - Graham etc... I'm thinking of this. http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=41966 What is the BuzzChart again?
July 3, 200718 yr I just thought the BuzzChart would be the same as the Multichart as it's really the same except members instead of artists?
July 3, 200718 yr I'm thinking of this. http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=41966 What is the BuzzChart again? Nah, the Buzz Chart is like the rate, but Top 10 or 20 in order of preference.
July 3, 200718 yr Will we be able to get it? Oh right, I was just wondering because all my chart data is all over the place and I need to keep it in one place :D
July 10, 200718 yr Author Been trying this out with the hate chart, but it just don't match because the post are less formal for example. It's looking for a list to extract the following 3 items. Chart Position//Artist//Track name These examples don't have that. Lee Mead R Kelly Akon (Dont Matter) White Stripes Enrique1. Love today 2. Never Again 3. Cupids Chokehold 4. Don't Matter 5. This Is Why I'm HotAkon - Dont Matter - 5 Pts Hadouken - 4 Pts Jack Penate - 3 Pts White Stripes - 2 Pts Mark Ronson & Lily Allen - 1 PtThere are some that do work, for example. 1 Rihanna - Umbrella 2 Lee Mead - Any Dream Will Do 3 Mims - This Is Why Im Hot 4 Enrique - Do You Know [Ping Pong Song] 5 Paul McCartney - Dance Tonight

I suppose it could work - is it possible to have it only extract where possible and to match the artists to most likely tracks? If there are more than two tracks by a certain artist I suppose the compiler could edit them to specify which track
November 12, 200717 yr Author Just rechecked some of this after a question on it. Current limitations of version 2. Will it handle any charts or different length. Top10, Top20 , Top40 etc? Yes, will handle anything from just 1 to Top100. Now upto a Top200 How many Personal charts can it handle in one go? Current development version can handle 128 charts, may increase with a future version. Limit now is 256, that means 256 members can enter a chart and will still work fine. July 31, 200816 yr Author Technical Requirements to run the tool. The tools is written in Excel using the macro ability. Microsoft Excel is required, ideally Office 2003 version although could well work with other versions(Excel XP and Excel 2007 but don't have a copy to test at the moment). Because the Tools uses macros to work out most things, the macros security has to be set so macros can be run. Within Excel it's -> Tools->Options -> Security (Tab) -> Macro Security (button). Either Medium (and confirm every time you run a macro) or Low and will just work fine. Bump. I think this works with Excel 2000 and Excel 2002(sometimes called Excel XP) and certainly works in Excel 2003. It's seems to work in Excel 2007 as well but the menu options are now somewhat hidden, requiring an extra click or so to find the menu options, thus making it's use more difficult. Blame the stupid idiots at Microsoft. :hithead: :arrr: If you going to use this tool remember that macros have to be enabled, as mentioned above, although the specifics of setting macros on varies a little from version to version. :P Edited August 1, 200816 yr by Justin Credible
