Any fans of the X-Men series, saw a trailer last nite for it, it looks pretty awesome.

Its the last movie of the trilogy series, and it deals with Dark Phoenix, the character that died at the end of the last movie

The movie is released on May 24, me thinks

good article in toatl film this month, however be careful with the cover with its clawed ripps in it, easy to rip in to by mistake!

I ain't a huge fan of X-Men but the third film looks brill, although I dunno how Vinnie Jones will come off as Juggernaut.
I'm really looking forward to it. The previous 2 films were awesome.
I really like this, and will definately be seeing the 3rd.

So who's going

Tipped to be the best ever

And sadly this is the last X-Men movie

I saw it last night - and really enjoyed it! I wont reveal much so I dont ruin, but there were a few shocks!

The set pieces were great, but it lacked the emotional grivitas of X Men 2.

8/10

Got to dis-agree with the statement that its the last one, as the ending gives of a real different impression.

IMO its not as good as the other two. There are some neat special effects in it and Beast is very good and so is Juggernaut. There is no point for Angel in the film though as he has the grand total of about 4 lines and appears in four scenes.....the only reason I can think that they would introduce him is if they were gonna make a fourth one.

They also made some stupid decisions IMO as well...Major Major Spoilers ahead. They kill off Cyclops within the first 10 minuites. Jean Grey dies at the end but its not Jean Grey its the Phoenix and all Phoenix does in it is kill off mutants and humans. Even flippin Xavier dies as well.......he gets disintergrated by Phoenix about half way through the film. Rouge and Mistique lose their powers and so does Magneto when Beast staps him with the cure for mutants. At the end though Magneto is playing chess and he seems to make one of the peices move but it ends just as he is about to do it. My predictions for the fourth film: The cure doesn't work and Rouge, Magneto and Mystique get their powers back. The bald kid will revive Jean Grey and Xavier (won't revice Cyclops as ther isn't really a point to him in the films as he isn't a major charchter)

Overall i'm confused as its meant to be the last..........but I really don't think it will be the last and Hugh Jackman did hint on the Chris Moyles show that there would be a fourth one.

everyone knows they will add more films to the franchise (even if these 3 are viewed as a stand-alone story), spin-offs and whatever

Meh I ain't a film critic but once you see the film you'll know why Beast was introduced, and Juggernaut really just adds a bit of comedy in the film.

Well if they are making a fourth, it be more of a spin-off, as far as I'm aware of, there are no plans for a fourth movie just yet, but I haven't seen the Last Stand yet.

There are other comic book movies to be hitting the screens in the next 2 years.

well marvel for one has set up a new film operation so be wanting to maxmise its 'brands'

I'm guessing that the fourth X-Men will come out in 2009 although Spin-Offs are likely but none of the teenage X-Men really get much too do really and I doubt they would be able to carry a film off by themselves. All three of the X-Men films are really based around Wolverine and he takes way too much limelight IMO.

The ending of the third is well like a small cliffhanger I think, or it could just be one of these make your own mind up endings but I think that if the film does well in the box office then a fourth will probably be on its way.

except if its directed by Dr Boll or Kurt Wimmer?

Right ok.......everybody who hasn't see the film yet.....from what I hear it is essental that you watch all of the credits as their is a special scene at the end. I can't reveal what it is incase I spoil one of the big surprises in the film but according to what i've read there is a very special scene at the end.

The very last scene(after the credits)at the end sets up X-Men 4 if the director makes it according to what i've read.

it was WICKED!! not as good as the second one but better than 'the davinci code'!! i read somewhere that FOX have already confirmed a fourth... i think it was on www.themovieblog.com!!

did everyone catch the teaser at the VERY end of the credits!? :o
