August 16, 200717 yr I posted this already to some other thread about the Gerry/Tracey argument but I'll post it here too (NOT my words but from DS member but I gotta agree with this one): Tracey was picking on Gerry's insecurities and weaknesses (age, looks etc.) because she doesn't like him. What does that make her? It makes her a bully. He admitted he lied about his age but she wouldn't drop it. Making it into this huge thing about what a horrible, awful lying liar he was from atop her mountain of smugness. He cracked under the pressure and said a few nasty comments to her in return. And please, he was speaking the truth. She lives in a shed and collects plastic bags. She spouts ridiculous catch phrases like a drugged up teenager. People WOULD judge her, rightly or wrongly. Tracey was playing at being holier than thou. Which is ridiculous when you think of the amount of time she spends slagging people off. Aren't she and Carole supposed to be friends? Nice of her to wind Liam up. (We all know the lie detector was a fake anyway. Brian's mum and teachers told us that he studied Shakespeare so there's your proof it was wrong.) i couldnt disagree with you more.... all tracey was doing was getting to the truth. gerry was pathetic claiming he was younger then he was... but then making it worse by going on and on about it. the point is that no one CARES wether hes 29 or 31. THAT was traceys point, they had all accepted it but gerry didnt! bizarre!!! so what if she lives in a shed? thats just another example of him looking down on them, it doesnt make her inferior at all.
