Posted July 9, 200718 yr I feel ashamed to say that i've had this tour DVD for 19 months now and I only watched it for the first time last night. I must say thay I absolutely LOVED it. :w00t: Personal highlights for me were Girls Allowed (one of my all-time favourites by the girls), Teenage Dirtbag (which I already had the audio of because of the fabulous Matt Aloud's countdown to Chemistry back in the CC days  ) Graffiti My Soul was amazing too. The singles didn't really fuss me much to be honest. Although I did like the end of I'll Stand By You  I just thought it was a very good show and it has actually made me want to see them next time they tour. :D As for my opinion of the girls themselves they actually changed somewhat from my original opinion. I always thought Nicola was quite miserable, never seemed to enjoy anything but I think her good side really shone through on this. Cheryl I assumed would play the lead and she didn't, she was quite subtle, nothing too outrageous and her vocals were actually a lot stronger than I give her credit for. I actually thought Kimberley was very shy on the DVD. :o Although her dancing was excellent I found her vocals to be quite shaky, maybe it was nerves I don't know. Nadine was of course the voice of Girls Aloud as she always has been and I found her dancing (which I thought was her weakness) to be very strong. :o As for Sarah, some things will never quite change, I hated her before the DVD and I hate her even more after the DVD. She had to try and make her voice standout amongst the girls when in reality Sarah isn't the lead, she isn't anywhere near the lead. As a lot of you have noticed from some See The Day performances she will even go to cringeworthy lengths to make herself stand out, and she seemed more obsessed with the fact that she was being filmed and making herself out to be the lead instead of putting on a good show for the London audience. All in all, I hate her - which is nothing new. In conclusion an EXCELLENT DVD and I could kick myself for waiting so long. This is probably a little irrelevant but it has reignited my interest in Girls Aloud and thought I would share it with you all. :P
July 9, 200718 yr YAYYYY! I've watched it about 10 times probs and still LOVE it. You're right, it really shows the girls talents off and is a great show. Do you have the Chemistry DVD?
July 9, 200718 yr Author YAYYYY! I've watched it about 10 times probs and still LOVE it. You're right, it really shows the girls talents off and is a great show. Do you have the Chemistry DVD? I don't have the Chemistry DVD but I shall seriously consider getting it now. :o Oh and Matt yeah the Life Got Cold is amazing. It's actually my favourite Girls Aloud single. :funky:
July 9, 200718 yr I don't have the Chemistry DVD but I shall seriously consider getting it now. Yeah, do. Chemisty is more of a spectacle, more extravagant.
July 10, 200718 yr It's a brilliant show but they've come a long way since so I'd recommend the Chemistry DVD too.
July 16, 200718 yr once again, the dvd is brilliant however when comparing this dvd to the chemistry one, you can tell how much they have all grown as live performers and singers :)
