Posted July 14, 200718 yr Buena unhappy over Sugababes song Thursday, July 12 2007, 23:30 BST By Daniel Kilkelly Mutya Buena reacted in fury when she learned that a song on her new album was written by Sugababes star Amelle Berrabah. The singer, who left the group in 2005 and was replaced by Berrabah, told her record company that she wanted to ditch the track after she was told who had penned it - but bosses refused to budge on the matter. An insider told Closer magazine: "Mutya went mad. The track was offered to the Sugababes first, but they turned it down so it got passed on to Mut. She put the song on the album, then the record company had to break the bad news to her. "Mutya was fuming and wanted the track taken off. They wouldn't ditch the song so they compromised by changing Amelle's name to a made-up one in the credits." Source: Digital Spy Not only that, but it's looking like he second single aswell :o
July 14, 200718 yr strung out was NOT written in any way shape or form by amelle. it was written about the early days of the sugas an is a rejected timw track. mutya stole it an rewrote part. end of

Source: Digital Spy Not only that, but it's looking like he second single aswell :o Strung Out writing credits: Peter Kirtley, Tim Hawes, Obi Mhondera, Mutya Buena. Peter (or Pete) Kirtley – started musical career at 18 with the Alan Price Set; has written and recorded with the likes of Champion Jack Dupree, Bert Jansch, Liane Carroll and Sir Paul McCartney. Tim Hawes – Ivor-Novello winning songwriter and producer who co-wrote and co-produced with Peter Kirtley Hear’Say’s 2001 #1 hit, “Pure and Simple.” Obi (Simbarashe) Mhondera – ace remixer from 33Hertz who has remixed tracks for Christina Aguilera, Natasha Bedingfield and Blue. To insinuate that the song's writing credits include a made-up songwriter is to say the least, unfair to the legitimate songwriters of Strung Out.
