Izzy :cheer: I'm loving all the comebacks, its going to be sad when this ends in two weeks time, it will be sadly missed. I heard there is one returning character will pass away, that has not be seen on the screen yet. I just feel the book is a clue to the finale, as it feels its the final chapter of a novel has been adapted. lol

I hope Neighbours makes the shortlist of the nta when revealed next month, i just saw the video on the neighbours facebook page where Takaya Honda who plays David is going round the set talking to cast members asking them have they voted yet. I think it would be lovely to see them win it.
Im so excited for all the final episodes as im excited for all the returns and closing storylines so thats kinda blocking out the actual end itself as i will miss it when its gone.
We have 10 left i think here in Ireland as we are slightly behind, i was hoping the special airing on channel 5 after the show ends would be shown here to but nothing yet so i will have to tune into channel 5 as i cant record from that channel.

I'm really sad it's coming to an end but the final episodes are somewhat amusing and random/completely unbelievable as nearly every character simultaneously finds some reason why they have to move on/leave the street, while others who haven't been seen in decades all coincidentally arrive back at the same time. Loved the Zoom call with Paul and five of his kids  Also loving seeing Izzy back in it, Natalie Bassingthwaighte is one of the best at portraying a character you love to hate and hate to love.

Also the recent tongue in cheek comments inserted by the producers about Lucy's various recasts over the years, along the lines of 'if I didn't know better I'd think you were a different person'!

My favourite was Paul and Shane discussing the Ramsay retcon ‘hard to believe you mother and my father had an affair’-yes it was and still is!

Loved the mention of Lyn Scully today, just wished she would turn up.

Five of Paul’s children on zoom calls? I thought only three were making an appearance.

Leo and David were on the call too.

One week to go now, 12 episodes.

It feels like it’s coming to an end abruptly but I’m enjoying the returnees, even if the stories are a bit crazy. Mal and Izzy in particular.

I know some people are saying some of the storylines are crazy but im enjoying them and i like the Mal and Izzy thing.
Yeah, I mean it’s crazy but it’s good crazy. I’m looking forward to seeing the zoom calls with the Paul’s children next week when it airs here.

It’s a really lovely scene, enjoy!

Love the stories, it’s what Neighbours is all about. Still hard to believe there’s only one week left.

Izzy might even edge out EastEnders' Janine as my ultimate soap bitch and one of my favourite ever soap characters. It takes quite an actress to play somebody so scheming and spiteful, yet hilarious and multifaceted. She really draws you into every scene, I'm so glad she's part of the final set of storylines.
