S.O.S. was also originally bought by Def Jam for Christina Milian, but was given to Rihanna when Christina Milian refused. Milian was then released from her contract.

But Rihanna did co-write some of the better songs on GGGB, and the album has a bunch of different producers, like Stargate and Timberland.

Well I'm just thankful it's Rihanna who's spent 10 weeks at no1, with such a lack of decent music that's been released these last few months, thank God it wasn't Westlife.

I say rather than a lack of good music having been released, its the fault of the buying public not to recognize good music when they hear it. The only music we seem to want to be buying in GB at the moment is imported from US

Well, It looks like the Thrills who are a great rock band from Ireland is more and more becoming an albums act since their last top 40 hit peaked at 39 in 2004, I wonder if the next single reached #41 in the neat future.

Having already achieved her second top ten hit with 'Take Control', she's about to take it to the next level with the monster track 'Gotta Work'. Containing a sample from 'Hold On I'm Coming' written by Isaac Hayes and David Porter, the track is reminiscent of her classic track, '1 Thing'. - HMV

Well, I guess all the people who loved "1 THing" will love this song since its based on a loop that is played over and over again.

Also when is Amerie's album coming out in the US?

Having started life as an instrumental called 'Riding The Wave' in 2005, it's been a long journey to the mainstream for Sunfreakz, but all the signs are there that this uplifting anthem is finally ready to cross-over. Originally created by Belgian producer Tim Janssens, the vocal version arrived last summer courtesy of Andrea Britton. Things progressed further when Axwell delivered his awesome remix later in 2006, and the record has since become a regular in the boxes of A-list DJ's around the world including Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Judge Jules, Carl Cox and David Guetta. Andrea recently went back into the studio to do a vocal version of Axwell's mix, and it was immediately made an Essential New Tune by Pete Tong. With heavy support in place, 'Counting Down The Days' looks like being one of the defining dance tracks for summer 2007. - HMV

Well I have weird feeling that this duet was going to happen since both acts had scored their second UK #1 6 years apart from their first chart-topper.

I think this tune has a chance to be a chart-topper in few weeks.
