Posted July 22, 200719 yr Apparently his fiancee has no idea of his true identity. Do you think this is right? I'd hate to be her in a few years' time if she somehow finds out. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/arti...in_page_id=1770 Edited July 22, 200719 yr by Crazychris
July 22, 200719 yr For goodness sakes, he did it when he was a child  Don't you think he's already paid enough for his stupid actions without people in effect trying to stop him from being allowed to marry? I doubt he's any danger to her whatsoever, so why is it wrong for him to marry her? -_-
July 22, 200719 yr It's not wrong to marry but why not tell her then? They say so in the article - she might tell others which might make him a target. Why should he tell her anyway? It has no relevance to their relationship whatsoever - normal people wouldn't be slated in the tabloids for not telling their partners about all the stupid things they did when they were children, so why should he?
July 22, 200719 yr I am uncomfortable with this Sure he may turn out to be another Mary Bell but equally he could end up fathering kids and would be a danger to them given what he did to Bulger He should be chemically castrated so that he can not have kids
July 22, 200719 yr Author Well marriage is based on honesty. I wouldn't like to marry a woman who had killed another child as a child. He's deceiving her. Simple as that.

We all have done dumb things when we were kids but there is a big difference between stealing some Pick N Mix in Woolies and the cold blooded murder of a child
July 22, 200719 yr Author Agreed Vic. I admit it's very difficult. If he told her she'd have to be sworn to secrecy for the rest of her life.
July 22, 200719 yr I think it's unfair that he's being given the oppurtunity to move on and build himself a new life, to be honest, when he helped brutally murder a defenceless child. He should be behind bars when he can serve a life sentence - God knows the victims family sure are! Edited July 22, 200719 yr by Off_Da_Endz

He should be behind bars when he can serve a life sentence - God knows the victims family sure are! Agreed. Jamie lost his life. They're allowed to live a relatively normal life. Admittedly they were only young but still doesn't seem right to me at all.

Don't you think he regrets what he did in his stupid childish actions?
July 22, 200719 yr He should be chemically castrated so that he can not have kids Dear god! What an awful thing to say :arrr: He's no more in danger to any children he may have than he is to this woman and therefore if he should be castrated he shouldn't be allowed to be in a relationship either. If you're going to deprive the man of love then what is the point in his very existance?! OF COURSE he shouldn't be castrated, that's an all-out punishment. He's not living life if he cant make the decision to marry or try for children, ffs.
July 22, 200719 yr We all have done dumb things when we were kids but there is a big difference between stealing some Pick N Mix in Woolies and the cold blooded murder of a child Yes, but kids can be incredibly cruel and merciless at times - do you think he'd have still done it had he been an adult?
July 22, 200719 yr Why would he be a danger to his children? Don't you think he regrets what he did in his stupid childish actions? It means there is something in his mindset that can completely snap one day and cause him to do terrible things, you don't just decide to go out and kill someone one day there is an evil sadistic gene lurking inside that brings that out, maybe it will never happen again but it is too big a risk to take the idea he might snap again one day He should not be allowed to father kids, he should be chemically castrated and if he wants to keep his past secret from his wife he can simply say he is impotent or something

July 22, 200719 yr He's not living life if he cant make the decision to marry or try for children, ffs. Yeah a great life Jamie Bulger is having being eaten by worms in a graveyard and a great life Denise Bulger and her partner are having  The fact is he went out and killed a THREE year old boy, he did not go out and kill a 10 year old or a 14 year old or anything, he killed a 3 year old so that shows that he is most danger to toddlers as opposed to teenagers etc ! unless you have access to his psychaitric records you can't prove otherwise
July 22, 200719 yr Author Had you made a terrible mistake when you were younger and regretted it now, would you not believe it unfair to be chemically castrated for your actions which you had already been punished for and regret? They weren't adequately punished though. Should have been locked up and the key thrown away. Sorry but that's my opinion.
July 22, 200719 yr unless you have access to his psychaitric records you can't prove otherwise Well I doubt he would have been let out if it had been judged he was still a threat to toddlers ;)
July 22, 200719 yr Had you made a terrible mistake when you were younger and regretted it now, would you not believe it unfair to be chemically castrated for your actions which you had already been punished for and regret? I have never ever once had any inclination to kill anyone of any age, the urge has never entered my head Therefore I can't answer that question as I have never had the mindset to kill
July 22, 200719 yr Yes, but kids can be incredibly cruel and merciless at times - do you think he'd have still done it had he been an adult? There is a difference, between cruelty and cold bloddiedness. As I child i couldn't of contomplated hurting someone else on purpose. There has to be something deep inside of you that is wrong for you to be able to do that as a child Had you made a terrible mistake when you were younger and regretted it now, would you not believe it unfair to be chemically castrated for your actions which you had already been punished for and regret? A terrible mistake is telling someone elses secret. But murder isn't a terrible mistake, it is just evil and i think if you murder someone you should be put away for life. You have taken away someone elses life, you shouldn't be able to have a life for the rest of yours
