Posted July 25, 200717 yr last single off of "Beautiful World" because i cant see a 5th single release to be honest but what if they dont release it at all in the uk?? tbh that would't bother me that much because the album has sold hell alot anyway.
July 25, 200717 yr I doubt any further tracks will be released as singles from the 'Beautiful World' album in the UK - 'Reach Out' has fared badly in Germany (Missing the Top.40) and Italy (Made the Top.15 but sales are SO low in Italy this is hardly an achievement).

Some sources even report that if this soundtrack will be a big success Take THat are finally going to release BW in the USA! Probably with some extras in it.

I'm still trying to get some more information on this track. In the meantime maybe we shouldn't get too carried away with it ... after all - it'll depend on the quality of the song and the strength of the film (nobody has heard the song yet). But you're right there will be no more single releases from BW. Besides - Reach Out has done pretty terrible in the German charts and only knocked on the door of the top 10 in the Italian chart (mind you - I suppose no promo AND no video didn't really help). Kathy Edit - I've finally read something from somebody who has seen the film. He says the only song he could recall was one playing over the end credits - it was OK but nothing special (he's assuming that it was the Take That track). I've also seen a line from the song and I've gotta say - its pretty cheesy! Must wait to hear the full thing I suppose - I think all the talk of Oscars is a mix of PR hype and the Sun 'building someone/somethin up only to pull it down' though. July 25, 200717 yr The end credits ? I might misunderstood something, but i thought the song is playing through the whole movie... Here's a piece from an article i found on this: “It is the main theme and also drops in throughout the film, so it really leaves its mark on the movie and its viewers." Well, lets just wait and see..

I think its done good enough at this stage and come the tour - it will naturally go up to the £2m mark in the UK. I'm reading various reviews of the film now - most of them good, one or two not so good - still no-one is mentioning the song (apart from the post I did an hour or so ago). Also - I don't think they have any intention of breaking into the US market (yes I think they'd be happy if they had an unexpected hit there - but I cannot see them committing themselves to something that could and would ultimately come to nothing - its a strong nut to crack the old US). We will definitely see a 'Tour Edition' of the album released in the UK to cash in on the hype of the tour and ensure sales are strong in the lead up to Christmas
October 2, 200717 yr went top10 in Finland, top15 in Denmark. Did ok in Sweden, Austria and Switzerland.
