July 31, 200717 yr Love this song so much, really catchy and Joel has a brilliant voice. Agree that the video isn't great but I don't think it will stop this song doing pretty well. Looking forward to the album release :D. xXx
July 31, 200717 yr i saw them in london - love all their new stuff; they played a lot of their new album to us/ to be honest, i wouldn't say that they've got an interchangable sound, just that their first album was very true to them, their second album much more commercial and this album is more back to their sound. but its good stuff, can't wait for the new album :)
August 1, 200717 yr Yup, I think the second album was a travesty. 'Wires' might have been a top 10 hit but they might as well have called themselves 'Athlete : Official Coldplay Tribute Band' on that single.

My brother in law loved the first album and got me listening to them, and it was almost unbelievable that Wires was from the same band!
August 2, 200717 yr So pleased Athlete are back, can't wait to see them live. I don't think this is a very strong comback single, but it's still good, hope the album does aswell as their last one.
August 2, 200717 yr Execllent song, I really like it. I like Tourist too, despite the slight safe cop out that it was. Wires is their best song to date, imo.
August 3, 200717 yr Author I've heard the album and it's quite good, on the whole it's much like Hurricane rather than some of the stuff they released for off the last album. They're back to the sound of Vehicles & Animals. ^_^

They're back to the sound of Vehicles & Animals. ^_^ The album is fantastic - they played loads of new stuff on tour and it's great - like you say back to vehicles and animals which is their best move ever :) their tour fairly much consisted of new stuff, mixed in with vehicles and animals and a couple from the second album - wires, half light etc
August 19, 200717 yr Has the a new video been released for this? I was flicking through music channels yesterday and saw the last 10 seconds of what looked like a completely different video. xXx
August 19, 200717 yr I must be the only one who thinks this doesn't sound that much like V&A but more of a cross between the first and second albums Hurricane is a good song but not much compared to the first album imo
