Two tracks from their new album have been confirmed by AXM Magazine, titled "Denial" and "Change"

Oh what joy to be a journo for a gay mag (that is proud of pop music). Frantically finishing off our September issue AXM got a call from Island records asking whether or not we would care to check out some new tracks from the lovely Sugababes. 'Hell yeah!' was the resounding answer. No sooner had we blurted the words 'We Miss Mutya!' and the three-track CD had appeared on our desk. The result? It's good news and bad news peeps. Let's get the bad news off our chests first. Right well they don't sound like the Sugababes anymore. They sound like they've gone to a studio in Miami that has access to a 24-hour pool party with non-alcoholic cocktails, and have been lunching with the likes of Ashlee Simpson and Avril Lavigne whilst watching The Hills on non-stop repeat. But wait!!! This is also a good thing. Because the comeback single 'About You Now' is real close friend of 'Since U Been Gone' (remember that great song before Kelly Clarkson went all strange?) it is also instantly catchy (which is also slightly worrying as you might get bored of it quite quickly, in the exact opposite way that you grew to love Push The Button, forever and always until pop music is destroyed). It's produced by Dr. Luke (P!nk, Kelis…) who does a good job in making the beats sound like an un-tuned TV sing it's heart out. Dr. Luke was responsible for P!nk's 'Who Knew' which also sounds like 'Since U Been Gone' and therefore a bit like 'About You Now' too. Jo Wiley is apparently playing it this week so have a listen. What you probably won't hear are the remaining two tracks; 'Denial' and 'Change'. 'Change' is a ballad that's starts off with a William Orbit like intro and snoozes it's way into being a perfectly passable Sugababes slowey (though not as exciting as 'Run For Cover', 'Stronger' etc.) 'Denial' on the other hand is an up-tempo rock-ish tune, no doubt inspired by their Arctic Monkeys cover. 'Denial' starts off (according to their rep) with 'a nod to The Gossip' however we'd say it's more like a head-butt knocking Beth Ditto to the floor whilst the babes run off with her bass-line. Anyway, this track is the real good news – it seems whilst they may be chasing some serious US fans and in the process sounding like a different band altogether, they've still got their knack for cool harmonies and catchy choruses. Having said all that - we still miss Mutters. Bye!

K, I'll update that ^_^ I wanted to punch the guy who wrote that though, AYN does not sound 'rock'y whatsoever, not like Kelly Clarkson OR P!nk -_- Did he even listen to the song?!

I can't wait to hear the ballad and the rockier track. woop

Really like the title actually.

I'm in Australia when this is released which is slightly upsetting but I'm back in November so will just have to listen loads then ha. Something to look forward to I guess.

[unless it comes out in Australia, although I do doubt it'll be out there before November.]

Well apparently the title isn't set in stone yet; there's a rumour it might be just 'Sugababes' so that they can launch in America, but this one does seem more likely...

Just released, Everything Changes is the lyric in About You Now, so it makes sense.

Sugababes would also be a good title, bit boring but hey.
