Should that be allowed? I think there are some forums sometimes that have inactivity, unless this one seriously had NO activity
Ricky did mention a while back that it was being monitored - I think it had liker no activity for ages

Sorry Russt, someone should of announced this before. Me I guess.

Anyway, the forum has been removed.

All the threads have been moved to the Indie forum- so it's all still here.

All the moderators know or had the opportunity because it's been discussed for a long time and there was finally a vote on it in which over 70% was to remove it.

Is BuzzJack getting a like lookover then like forums, groups, moderators etc:

I posted in it about a week ago because I felt sorry for it. And I don't even like Morrissey!

Didn't it have a Mod?

It was TCM getting banned again that made it go in a direction towards it's end imo :( I took over as moderator because he was coming back and I thought we could revive it but with him being banned and no one else really supporting it that much (which affected promotion as no one wanted to post in an inactive forum and I never found out but on one message board someone described this site as 'scary' probably because of how big it is!) but I do find it disgraceful it came to this considering it was dedicated to an artist who has done so much for music and everything. :(

Why was TCM banned?

And it does seem a bit of a testament to the route BJ is going down when there's silly, superfluous forums like 50%of the remaining ones - and a truly groundbreaking, historical and influential band like The Smiths lose theirs..... a very sad day for this site. :(

I agree here with the bulk of russt's statement here, as I don't even KNOW 60% of the artists who have forums here, and there seems to be a lot of watsed space here for these 'fluff' forums....granted, I may have voted for one or two of these forums that are taking up space here, and I regret having done so now, and it also rues me to see an end to a forum I liked to read and post in on occasion...like russt sais, sad days indeed...

Good summary.

I voted for it to stay..I believe that once forums are on here, they should stay on here..and all of the forums have a lot of hard work put into them.

Except the Morrissey forum, which is why it went...

yea i was gutted, i had saved a load of stuff from nme and bits from papers but cos i had no internet for june/july i couldnt post..gutted!!!!!

Very sad, are these forums for music lovers or just pop? It would seem the latter. I know I haven't posted for a while, but then it always was quiet. I've nothing agains't the likes of Amy Winehouse and Pink, I just prefer more musical depth. Thanks for the forum for when it was open though (I don't suppose I will be back)
