December 26, 200618 yr LOL okay. What's an INC? :lol: :unsure: Try popping into the Mariah Carey Forum (LambyLoveInc) or the Robbie Williams Forum for the best examples. INC topics are just general chit chat, just normal everyday chat, which doesn't really deserve a topic but something you want to mention anyway, like what you did today or what you had for your tea or whatever. :lol: They can go on for hundreds of pages, LambyLoveInc is on about 350 pages or something. :lol: They really boost the forums total post count and help you in the OF League Tables. ^_^

January 25, 20205 yr Oops first post here in 13+ year but didn’t want to make a new thread when there’s already one. But yeah I listened to this album in full today for the first time in absolutely ages. It’s so strange to think it’s Rihanna. She’s developed so much since but there’s definitely potential on here. SOS is definitely the best thing on this though. I really wish Unfaithful come later in her career because vocally she’d smash it now but her voice then wasn’t what it is now.

March 1, 20205 yr This used to be my go-to summer album. :heart: Kisses Don't Lie, Unfaithful, Dem Haters, Final Goodbye, A Million Miles Away, P.S... the album had so many jams!
March 2, 20205 yr Wow this really takes me back, haven't listened to this in years & remember everybody thinking that Rihanna was gonna be a one-hit wonder until the amazing 'SOS' came out & that's what made me a firm fan of hers, the 'Tainted Love' sample works really well with this & makes the whole thing POP!. The album was fine, the Caribbean Dancehall vibe really set her apart from the other female artists at the time, plus this was a huge step up compared to her debut. Of course the singles 'SOS', 'Unfaithful' & 'Break It Off' are by far the best moments on here, dunno why 'BIO' wasn't released here in the UK, surely it would have smashed instead of 'We Ride', which in itself was okay but doesn't have the wow factor the first 2 singles had. Other fun standout moments 'Kisses Don't Lie', 'Dem Haters' & 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love', which do sound bit a quite dated now, but compared to some of the ballads which really bogs things down, they're still fun tracks.
April 1, 20205 yr The first single 'SOS' for me when it was released it was a big step up from 'Pon de Replay'. This was the song for me where I knew Rihanna was gonna be big.
May 18, 20214 yr A little late with this but though it deserved a bump. A Girl Like Me turned 15 back in April. What are peoples thoughts on this? Any particular tracks that are a highlight? I don’t think I’ve heard this album since 2008 but aside from the singles I remember liking Kisses Don’t Lie.
