Well we all know that it wasn't a big seller due it's lack of commercialism but I've dug it out of my collection and I would say that it's probably one of my favourite Kylie albums :o It's got so many great songs on it and it shows that Kylie wasn't afraid of doing what she wanted to do. :D

Still Standing  Obesession  After Dark

It definitely got a lot of unfair slagging off, it's a gem of an album IMO. The only two songs on it I don't like are ' I Feel For You' and 'Someday' (perhaps 'Red Blooded Woman' now too). The rest of it is utterly divine!

'Secret (Take You Home)' should have so been a single, I'd have preferred it over RBW.

I'm really not that keen on it. Dire single choices. Secret is amazing and needed a release
I love this album. For me, the best record of 2003.

And I like 'Slow'

I admit it's not a commercial single but as the album was not as overtly commercial as 'Fever' I don't think that was a bad thing.

The video was ACE and the single was really a test. If you were a Kylie fan, you'd buy the album. If you liked the song but always saw Kylie as a pop bimbo, maybe you'd buy the album too.

Sadly many people did not but their loss.

it shows that Kylie wasn't afraid of doing what she wanted to do

Exactly. Kylie never needs to earn another penny again.

Thank God she released an album which is not geared towards what the public mindlessly like that month.

I think I'd say that 'Slow' is one my all time favourites from her :o I think it was probably because of the impact it had on me as it was different to her usual stuff :D I was expecting her to go down the road that Fever went again but it was great she went her way rather than what would appeal to the majority of the general public like you said. ;)
I LOVED this album, I loved Secret, Promises, Obsession and After Dark, and of course the 3 singles.

no been totally honest i dont think body language in underrated as overall its not a brilliant kylie album,so its fairly rated is the best way i can put it
the artowrk for the album is very good though, limited but very good and is eye catching in a different way to say light years ,light years has a sex appeal artwork, body language has the look at me appeal

BL is an amazing album but there are a few red herrings in it. if they had included some leftover tracks like I'm just here for the music or my image unlimited instead of someday and i feel for you then it would be perfect.

i would also release ocsession as a single

Ive been a fan since 1988 and have every album. And to me this is easily in my opinion her worst album. I just cant get away with it and I blame it mainly her whispering nasal vocals. I think it only has about 2 or 3 good songs on it. Slow is amazing though. Maybe I should get it back out and listen to it again. Maybe ill start to appreciate it more, just like I did with Impossible Princess.
Its allright of an album. Some tracks to put it simply just arent any good but the album has some real gems like Slow and Red Blooded Woman.

I love Body Language. I'm not keen on her style though.

It took a while to grow on me. At the time it was released I wasn't the die hard fan I am today and I didn't rate Slow. Add to that the hideous album cover means I didn't exactly rush out to buy it.

I finally got it about 3 years ago for about £1.50 at HMV at about the time Showgirl was released on DVD - and although I didn't like it at first, I absolutely love it now!

Stand out for me are Slow (i totally get it now), Still Standing, I Feel For You, RBW, Loving Days   and Obsession but i love it all. Even all the b-sides are just perfect. I actually own 3 copies of BL now. The UK one, the OZ one with 'Slo Motion' and the USA one with 'Cruise Control' and 'You Make Me Feel'.

Unlike X this album was consistant whereas X is a bit clunky. I love all her Parlo albums though, not a bad one amongst them. I would love a Parlo Greatest Hits. That would be perfect

It's more cohesive as an album than X but a lot of the lyrics and melodies I would say are inferior to other Kylie material.

Body Language is an amazing album. Red Blooded Woman is probably one of my all-time favourite. Slow is amazing, the video is amazing.

Not to mention the BL live is ace!! :cheer:
