So can I. And I don't need a map anyway. I know exactly where I'm going.

Hi :(

I am so annoyed. I know none of you probebly watch boxing, and I don't either, but do when someone Irish is fighting. Dublin's own Bernard Dunne just lost the Bantamweight title in 86 seconds to some spanish guy. I am so pissed off, He's had the title for the past year and is undefeated in 24 fights, and is such a nice guy. A friend of mine payed hundreds to go and see the fight, and over in 86 seconds. <_< :(

Over in 86 seconds, what a waste of money  I bet that hurt his pocket.

I'm off to bed. Early start tomorrow.

Night all.

Well it started off in Bernards favour, then the Spanish guy just hit him, he fell down, looked really shocked. Then he knocked him down twice more, and obviously that's the end of it once you get knocked down three times, which is a ridiculous rule, and he did'nt knock him out and Bernard was not even injured. He barly fell down, and was so pissed off when the reff said it was over. Kept walking around the ring saying "f***" He is such a great guy though, a real Dub  He said he was just so sorry for the fans. It must be so annoying to never have been defeated in your carear, train for 6 months for a fight and it be over in 86 seconds. :( I am pleased I did'nt go, I would've been really annoyed then.

Dunne stopped in first round

Saturday, 25 August 2007

Bernard Dunne has sensationally lost his European super-bantamweight title at the Point in Dublin after a first round stoppage loss to Spain's Kiko Martinez.

A raucous, capacity crowd at the Point Depot watched in disbelief as Dunne was sent to the canvas twice inside the first minute of the contest; the Spaniard catching the Dubliner cold with thundering left and right hooks.

Dunne looked mystified as he got to his feet and faced a standing count from referee Terry O'Connor, and there was no escape as his opponent relentlessly pursued his chance to finish the fight before the bell.

Martinez pummelled Dunne into submission with an incessant onslaught and the referee stepped in to stop the fight after 86 seconds.

Dunne had tried to stand up to his opponent from the start, but it proved to be a massive miscalculation, as the powerful Martinez leapt at the chance to pound Dunne with vicious blows from the outset.

Dunne's defence was non-existent and he was unable to deal with the 21-year-old Spaniard's power - his height and reach advantage rendered useless.

It was the Dubliner's first defeat of his professional career, while Martinez maintains his unbeaten record, adding a 14th knockout to his 17 victories.
